The solid and void
The project starts with a design of solid and void. The reception desk is a custom furniture that can represent my idea of how the solid and void can work together to create more interesting form and function.

The Interior
As the concept “solid and void“ developed into the reception desk, it starts to move into the space as well. As people walk in to the working area, they can see the ceiling is acting as a invisible space divider. The desk in principle’s office can also reflect the reception desk in the front.

The Positive & negative
Los Coal is a restaurant that based in Mexico. The owner want it to become a high-end restaurant. Using the positive space and negative space study as a concept for this project. The step ceiling goes across the whole space and by stepping up and down it creates different spaces and define the private area and public area.

The inner connection / inner lock
Fashion design classroom want to have the storage and conference room in the same space but have different access and privacy level. The inner lock idea connects the three program that are needed by interacting the spaces and light.
