Foreword
Ever since its inception, SOIL has provided its students the environment in which they can develop as strong leaders. The key attributes of character, competence and enthusiasm have always enabled our students to ride out the inhibitors in the surrounding ecosystem and emerge successful in a highly competitive scenario. SOIL’s Career Development Office (CDO) strives to facilitate students in finding recruiters that fit their skill set. We
aid students in defining their career goals and try to fulfill their ambitions by providing them with the best available
employment resources. We are proud to have placed over 1300 graduates in the past through SOIL, across 300
companies in 22 different countries of the world.
We are immensely grateful to our partners who have supported the institute throughout its 11 years of journey.
We would also like to express our gratitude to our new companions, with whom we look forward to a long and
symbiotic relationship.

Finals Placement Season 2020-21 Our Interim Placement Report for 2020-2021, would detail our efforts towards guiding the career paths of our
students. With the personalized assistance provided by the CDO team, the faculty, the peers and the alumni
network, the MBA candidates have been able to grow in their existing role and their company to higher managerial
positions or change their career path completely by changing their sector, function, role and geographical
location.
Despite a slightly adverse macro environment for hiring, our valued base of recruiting organizations has continued to repose its faith in our students. Plus, we have managed to add several new Companies to this firm base. Our students have been absorbed in all the key domains such as Marketing, Analytics, Finance and Human Resources.
Industry wise participation SOIL witnessed a total of 39 companies visiting the campus thus far in this placement season. IT & services lead the way with 50% of companies closely followed by Banking & Finance companies at 25%. There were ample number of firms from the BFSI, Consulting, Education & FMCG sectors enabling the students to choose their preferred sector

Statistics of the placement season
Despite the effect of COVID, SOIL has managed to find excellent final placement opportunities across industry verticals for its PGDM batch of 2021. The highlight our season was the industry variety which enabled our students to study various sectors and find the ones they are most comfortable with. With more than 50 companies planned to visit our campus, students are provided with the option to choose
their projects across companies through the guidance of the Career Management Services.
