The Center for Educa on Abroad is staffed with Peer Advisors to help students get started and are available to meet during walk-in hours. Educa on Abroad Advisors are available by scheduled appointments for in-depth advising.
Educa on abroad programs:
• Open to all majors
• Accept Rochester Financial Aid on UR programs
• Cost about the same as a semester at Rochester on UR programs
• • Open opportuni es for outside scholarships
• Do not require foreign language proficiency
• Offered in more than 40 countries
• Offered during fall, spring, full-year, summer, and other short terms

Students are encouraged to begin the process by a ending an educa on abroad general informa on mee ng to learn about the many available op ons. A Peer Advisor will then help point students in the right direc on with choosing a program and ge ng started with the applica on prprocess. Once students have met with a Peer Advisor, an appointment should be scheduled with an Educa on Abroad Advisor for in-depth advising. It’s never too early to start planning for educa on abroad, especially for science and engineering majors as early planning is esseessen al for maximum flexibility.
The annual Global Fair is a great resource for students, faculty, and staff to learn more about educa on abroad and takes place on Friday, October 27, 1-4pm in the Feldman Ballroom, Douglass Commons.
