Student Profiles
Searching for Students
The first screen in the LDS looks like this. Notice
there are three tabs at the tab, and your default
opening page is “Student Profiles”.
There are three ways to locate individual
students:
1. Enter a teacher, course section, student
name, state ID or student number in the
search field at the top to begin narrowing
the search.
2. Select from “Teacher or “Course Section”
filters. Each selection will narrow the list
of students whose names appear under the
“Students” heading on the right.
3. You can also scroll through the full list of
“Students” on the right and select your
student by hand.
Click the magnifying glass icon to the right of a
header to open a white text box with a cursor.
Enter text within the box to search data within the
selected filter.
Click an eraser icon (example circled in red) to
clear a search filter.
Once the desired student’s name appears under the
“Students” column on the right, click the student’s
name.
