INTERSOLAR INDIA CONFERENCE AT THE LEELA KEMPINSKI

The Intersolar India Conference presents the most relevant andtimely topics across all aspects of the solar industry in order tobest facilitate an exchange of knowledge and provide vital infor-mation on the state-of-the-industry at the Leela Kempinski Hotelin Mumbai.

In addition to Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar Mission, more than8 states, including Rajasthan, Punjab, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, West Bengal, etc., have introduced support policiesbased on feed-in-tariffs and other incentives, in order to activelypromote the deployment of solar applications. The governmentof Gujarat alone aims to have 350 MW installed by 2011 via theexisting feed-in-tariff. This provides ample opportunities and chal-lenges for stakeholders such as manufacturers, entrepreneurs andfinancers.

High caliber speakers representing the Indian governmental andregulatory bodies, manufacturers, distributors, financiers and pro-ject developers from India as well from abroad are presenting thelatest developments of the solar industry.
