The European Year of Cultural Heritage - 2018 topic for CoR:
Proud of my region and its culture > focus on a single flagship product from your region/city > for the 3-4 best applications: location on the ground-floor (more and better visibility) - assessment criteria: level of animation and interaction with the visitors
Festival of Regions and Cities CoR political group stands &
informative stand Presentations of the CoR throughout the day (room JDE52) Animation: photo booth, balloon sculpturer and coiffure/maquillage
Exhibition of stands presenting European regions and cities
presenting your cultural heritage or showcasing a unique flagship product from the region (food, art, technology)
on the ground floor and on the 5th floor
Regional offices’ stands Standard: 1 table and 2 chairs, blue tablecloths and shared plasma screen with other regions and cities Exhibitors are responsible for keeping decoration items and material within their allocated area At least two staff members per region attending stand (can rotate) Content for plasmas – provide videos by 24 April via www.wetransfer.com to [email protected] or on USB at the partners’ meeting on 24 April. We will manage placement on screens.
We strongly encourage interactive activities/games with the visitors
Food and drinks - Vouchers for sandwiches - Canteen closed - Water for free at the bar - Coffee and tea for early birds - If you provide food/drinks at your stand: - packaged food; no cooking - do not serve alcoholic drinks to children under 18 and avoid repeated tasting by the same visitors!
Timeline 16 March 2018: Deadline for applications for regional offices (on-line application) 24 April 2018: Second organisational meeting (JDE 70, 14:00-15:00) 4 May 2018: Setting-up the stands (12.00-16.00) 5 May 2018: You may enter the building as of 08:00. Doors will be opened to the public between 10:00 and 18:00.
