[57] Abstract:

The multiple pili nut cracker and depulper consists mainly of a two rotating spindle having six disk-like sharp edges with plurality of slit on the circumferential area of the blade-like disk, equally spaced from the center of the rotating spindle, each end is supported with ball bearings for ease of rotation. The plurality of disk- like sharp edges act like a cutting knife at the upper depulper level for the pulp to be removed from the pili fruit and cracking means for the hard shell at the lower cracker level of the said machine while sliding down the anvil-like chopping board that is adjustable according to sizes of the fruit.

[57] Abstract:

An intelligent soot-blowing method used in an intelligent soot-blowing device that includes steps outlined below is provided. Historical boiler operation parameters and historical coal composition data during a certain time period are analyzed to determine a soot-blowing relation. A soot-blowing control policy is generated based on the soot-blowing relation. Soot-blowing of a plurality of soot- blowing units is controlled and predicted boiler operation parameters are generated based on the soot-blowing control policy and a current coal composition. Real-time boiler operation parameters are detected. Differences between the real-time boiler operation parameters and the predicted boiler operation parameters are calculated by the control units to adjust the soot-blowing of the soot-blowing units accordingly.

The developed greenhouse type—solar dryer system retrofitted with biomass furnace with a capacity of 612 kg of fermented cacao beans is comprised of drying section, biomass furnace system, air distribution system and greenhouse drying chamber. The invention has a drying area of 46.8 m

2. Complete drying of

fermented cacao beans from an initial moisture content of 66.2 % to a final moisture content of 7.4% was attained after 77.5 hours, 40% reduction in drying time. Daytime drying temperature ranges from 40.5 °C — 55.2 °C. When heat is supplemented during night time, the temperature ranges from 27.7 °C — 38.2 °C. The bean recovery is 44.8 %. When furnace is operated, the average firewood consumption per hour is 10.2 kg. Power consumption of blowers is 22.4 kw-hr.
