All development cooperation through Sida shall:

• Assist partner countries to identify and implement activities that strengthen and develop NR and env, incl. Improved capacity to handle CC

• Emphasize and support environmental sustainability in the long-term perspective

• Follow the principle that prevention is better than cure

• Refrain from contributing to activities and collaborations that obstruct sustainable dev.
