Examples of energy savingHere are examples of energy-savings made using Eliwell solutions in a 1500m2 supermarket and in a convenience store. The results depend on the size of the refrigeration system and the amount of energy drawn from each type of load: ducted chiller/freezer cabinet aisles, plug-in cabinets, lighting, signs, HVAC and domestic water.

Innovative Environmentally Optimized SolutionsPlant maintenance, guaranteed savingsThe maintenance of refrigeration equipment in retail outlets is a critical performance factor, as well as being essential to the quality of the refrigerated product itself.
The initial equipment cost accounts for less than 10% of the total life cycle cost; the choice of components thus makes not only a substantial contribution to initial consumption, but also to maintenance costs over the life cycle of the system.
The Eliwell’s monitoring, alarm management and remote management systems are designed to simplify and facilitate system adjustment and routine maintenance.
The fault notification functions with prioritising filters and web access to detailed information for each unit enable the user to correct non-critical deviations and reduce reactive service requirements. Energy Saving in the Remote-chilled cabinets
The V800 valve control module is ideally suited to operate with the ID985/V cabinet controller, which schedules all cabinet, fan, lighting, defrost, frame heater functions and differential setpoints with its internal clock.
The ID985/V and V800 are also ideal for ducted cabinet configurations with synchronized defrosting and unified lighting control, operating even without a supervision system and with no need for supplementary modules.
RTX600/V combines the controller and electronic valve control into a single device, thereby simplifying installation in the main switchboard, aided also by the LAN plug-n-play network to coordinate functions in ducted cabinet aisles.
Electronic valve functioning and optimizationPulse-type electronically controlled valves provide precise load modulation to exploit the full capacity of the evaporator and reduce cabinet temperature oscillations to a minimum. The V800 controller controls the electronic valve independently and provides sophisticated algorithms for stabilizing the operating point the closest to the setpoint than with conventional EEV controllers.
