SIIS is not just data oriented but is also process oriented and a key input for decision-making

It helps to register individuals and households (updated information).

It helps to assess eligibility of applicants (merging self-reported and administrative data)

Allows tracking beneficiaries within a program and among programs.

Provides to suppliers a profiled demand.

Citizens can review their information and require changes.

Single stop-shop for information (both for institutions and citizens)
