This Integrated Project Management Plan has been prepared for the Kamojang 5 Geothermal

Power Plant Project to define the roles of the different organiations in!ol!ed in the project and

to facilitate co"ordination between the #lient$ the #onsultant and the #ontractor$ in order toensure efficienc% and effecti!e management towards the completion of the Kamojang 5 Project$

respecting the budget assigned to the project$ according to the contractual specifications and

within the contractual time frame& 'pecificall%$ as stated in the Technical Proposal$ the Integrated

Project Management Plan aims to(

)& *efine organiation$ structure and basic targets of the Project+

,& Pro!ide proper references on rules$ constraints and obligations to be followed during Project

e-ecution$ in order to guarantee the correct approach from the technical$ operational and

administrational point of !iew+

Pertamina Geothermal 1nerg% 2PG13$ hereinafter =The 1mplo%er>$ in collaboration with the

national power compan% P?$ is de!eloping a geothermal project aimed to e-tend the e-isting

power plant in Kamojang&

The project comprises the de!elopment of upstream 2steam field$ steam gathering and reinjection

s%stem3 and downstream 2geothermal power plant3 facilities& In addition the project will duplicate

the e-isting associated transmission line&

The steam produced will feed a new unit in the e-isting geothermal power plant& The unit will

ha!e an output capacit% of .0 M@& The output of Kamojang 5 Geothermal power plant will be

deli!ered to the )50 8A Kamojang substation$ which is located 5 8m awa% from the power plant$

The Project la%out consists mainl% of a Fluid #ollection and Beinjection '%stem 2F#B'3$

separator and demister$ steam turbine$ condenser$ hotwell pumps$ cooling towers$ generator$

transformer$ switchgear$ au-iliar% electrical e4uipment$ instrument and control e4uipment$ related

ci!il wor8s& 'ome parts of the e-isting power plant$ such as for instance firefighting s%stem$

compressed air s%stem$ communication facilities$ powerhouse$ administration building$

warehouse$ shall be e-ploited also for the new unit$ in some cases after an e-tension&

The area of the power plant is about CD 000 mE& It is located on the side of a hill and has alread%

been terraced&

The e-isting powerhouse is con!entional multi"le!el pitched roof structure$ consisting of steel

portal frames and reinforced concrete floors and foundations& It will be e-tended with the same

characteristics& 'upport for the main generation plant contained within this building will be

separated from the powerhouse structure and floors to limit the transmission of operation

sourced !ibrations to the building structure&

The steam power plant would use direct"contact condensers where the cooling water is spra%ed

water is then cooled in a cooling tower&

also be re4uired to inject biocides into the circulating water to minimie organic

growth in the cooling tower+ some e-isting parts of this s%stem ma% be e-ploited+

C& Instrument and utilit% air s%stem to suppl% instrument air to plant and F#B' control

!al!es$ as wells as utilit% air for the wor8shop and general ser!ice areas& This s%stem

field in a safe condition and read% to be re"started once start"up power is re"

The essential part in the management of claims and !ariation orders or an% other form of

contractual assistance is the monitoring of the #ontractorQs operations and the maintenance of

accurate and detailed site records& It is !er% important that the 1mplo%er and the #onsultant

maintain a clear picture of the #ontractorsQ wor8 methods$ and of an% changes in conditions

necessitating changes in plant or e4uipment$ and that he records labor usage$ plant a!ailabilit% etc&

and maintains a general o!er!iew record in a concise form for later reference if needed&

@ritten field instructions ma% be gi!en to the #ontractorsQ staff in response to minor or immediate

construction problems$ such as a need to amend a structure to ta8e account of unsuitable

Inspections will include a chec8 of the 4ualit% of materials$ wor8manship$ the manufacturing processes$ construction details$ e4uipment features$ testing procedures$ and shop test results& To

this purpose$ the #ontractor will ma8e periodic !isits to the manufacturers/ plants and$ when

besides the procedures for regular operation$ inspection and monitoring of the conditions of the

component parts$ the manuals will comprise instructions for dealing with emergenc% cases&
