Nobo Jibon is an Integrated Program

Challenges

• Human and natural resources at HH level to obtain nutrition-sensitive

livelihood options

• Lack of space/land

• Lack of water-bodies

• Economic barriers

• Intra-household food distribution patterns

Lessons learnt

• Integrating nutrition-sensitive livelihood options along with

MCHN-SBCC activities have a greater impact on improving

nutritional status of children

• More gender-sensitive MCHN and livelihood SBCC needed to

improve nutritional behavior regarding PLWs
