What Integra options are available for Gas?

Traditional Chimneys

For rooms with a traditional chimney (known as a class 1 flue) there is adeep Convector Engine (pages 4 & 19) with an amazing heat output of4kW and an efficiency approaching 60%. This Engine is open frontedand available with a choice of manual or remote control and is alsoavailable in LPG.

If you can bare to sacrifice an open fire for our new glass fronted High Efficiency (HE)Engine (pages 3 & 11) you can achieve 4kW with an increased efficiency of over 80%.

Pre-fabricated or Pre-cast Flues

For rooms with a flue but no traditional chimney breastthere is a Classic Multiflue Engine (pages 7 & 18) with aheat output of 3.3kW and an efficiency approaching 50%.These flues often consist of a pre-cast fluepipe built insidethe cavity of a wall and can often be seen from outside by ametal cowl or raised ridge tile on a roof instead of a traditional chimney pot.

No Chimney Options

For rooms with no chimney or flue but a suitable external wall there isan open fronted fan-assisted Powerflue Engine (page 20) with a heatoutput of 3.3kW and an efficiency approaching 50%.

If you can sacrifice the open gas fire for our new glass fronted Balanced Flue Engine (page 16) you can achieve a quieter operationwith an output of 4.3kW and an increased efficiency approaching 94%.

What Integra options are available for Solid Fuel?There is a Solid Fuel Integra Suite available in many of the Integra designs suitable forwood burning and smokeless fuels - see Page 13.

What Integra options are available for Electric?There is an Electric Integra Suite available in many of the Integra designs - see Page 12.

Are the Mantels shown in the brochure available?Yes, all mantels shown in the brochure are available from your Retailer (and are inter-changable). Standard mantel dimensions are shown on page 22 (but smaller sizes areoften available).

Material options include Turkish Limestone, Italian Marble, Chinese Black Granite andtimber such as Solid Oak and Pine.

The Solid Fuel (SF) Integra is shownin the Majestic design but is alsoavailable in the Anson and Ashbournedesigns and finishes.

Suitable for wood burning andsmokeless fuels the SF Integra Insetbelow, boasts an output up to 5kWand an efficiency approaching 70%.

An Airwashsystem helpsto keep thewindow cleanallowing youto enjoy theflame patternin full. Thedoor simplyclips open andclosed with anoperating tool.

The Aston Integra is anothertraditional design looking veryelegant in an antique finish verysimilar to the old fashioned blacklead but these days graphite is used.

The Aston is also available in a mattblack or highlight polished finish.

The handpainted tubeline tiles depicta blue iris flower (other colours anddesigns are available on p17).

The mantel shown is the Balmoral insolid pine (with an antique finish)and this mantel is also available insolid oak.

The Eden Integra may look verytraditional in a matt black finishfurnished with beautiful Oriental Iristiles in ivory & burgundy.

This fireplace, however, in commonwith all the other Integra castings inthis brochure can be fitted into aroom with no chimney or flue.

The Integra Balanced Flue gas fire(shown in the picture), boasts anoutput of 4.3kW and an extraordinaryefficiency of 94%.

Those living in a new or convertedproperty should no longer need tosacrifice their choice of a traditionalcast-iron fireplace due to inefficiencyor the lack of a chimney.

Cast Iron CarePackagingYour Integra cast-iron fireplace is packaged so as to minimise exposure to adverseelements and should reach you in perfect condition. The product should be storedin a warm, dry environment and remain packaged until the fireplace is ready tobe installed. This will prevent accidental damage being caused, which will not becovered under warranty. It is essential that you inspect your Integra casting priorto installation as it will be deemed to be of merchantable quality thereafter andno liability will be accepted for product removal, reinstallation or redecoration.

CleaningYour Integra casting requires only the minimum upkeep and it should remain insuperb condition for many years. Matt black, antique or polished finishes can bemaintained simply by dusting with a dedicated dry paint brush.

WarningCast-iron products are vulnerable to rust and tarnishing if exposed to dampness orwater. Avoid the use of damp cloths, water-based liquids, furniture polish,detergents, oils, grease etc. onto the surface of the cast-iron. Should your fireplacebecome wet for any reason, dab it gently with a simple dry cloth. This shouldprevent any tarnishing or rust from forming. It is normal for some discoloration tooccur to the working parts of a cast-iron fireplace.

Tubeline Tiles were traditionally made towithstand the high temperatures generated by aworking fireplace and performed the practicalfunction of reflecting heat into the room whenplaced at an angle facing inward.

With a choice of five designs and various colouroptions, two runs of five tiles make up a set to fit

into an Integra casting. The Luscia andMediterranean Poppy tile sets include a left andright handed design. Our tubeline tiles areindividually handpainted in the traditional wayand will be subject to colour variation and normalcrazing.

Cast-iron Sleeves are an alternative to the morecolourful tubeline tiles. Sleeves are supplied inpairs to suit an Integra casting and these areavailable in a matt black, antique or highlightpolished finish. The Art Deco Sleeve design, asshown on page 9, is also available in Full Polish.

Multiflue The Classic Multiflue is a simple yeteffective coal effect fire beingdesigned to fit almost any chimneyor flue-type. Its cosy flame pictureand 3.3kW output make it a welcomeedition to any living room.

High Efficiency The HE (High Efficiency) is anattractive gas fire which, similar tothe convector, benefits from asubstantial 4kW output, but unlike theconvector, the HE is glass fronted, andthis difference increases the efficiencyfrom 60% to over 80% and in effectgives you more heat for less cost.

Cast Assembly Details

Easy to fitThe Integra casting can becomfortably housed inside a standard76mm (3") rebated mantel whichalleviates the need for a fitter toknock into the plasterwork orbrickwork of a wall.
