This complete configuration of the modem. The settings are retained even after power off.

Note:The functionality of the communications connection was tested with the modem firmware versionV2.200-V34_ACF_DS1. Please check the version of your modem firmware using the command ATI3.If a different firmware is loaded in the modem and no connection is set up, then please get in touchwith the manufacturer of the modem.

For data exchange later you must set the transmission rate of the PPI interface in the S7-200 CPUalso to 19.2 kbps.

You must make the following settings of the PC/PPI cable:

Note:When using the PC/PPI cable (MLFB 6ES7 901-3BF00-0XA0) the "DTE" setting cannot be activated.This is why it is necessary to have an additional zero modem adapter between the remote modemand the PC/PPI cable.More information on data communications via modem is available in the S7-200 System Manual,section 7.4 "Communicating with Modems".
