The foil is made of PVC / rubber, it is fastened in the power installation with plastic tongs or insulating magnets. Rubber foils (blankets) are according to CEI 61112, class 0, category A + Z, the rubber being UV-stabilised, for outdoor use, highly flexible and resistant against tearing and perforation.
The insulating foil is a protective equipment used in order to avoid the worker’s accidental contact with live power installations or equipment. The insulating foil is used in low voltage power installations (U ≤ 1 kV), in dry weather conditions.n

Insulating plugs are made of red polycarbonate in two constructive dimensions, depending on the fuse socket type.
Insulating blades are insulating protective devices installed in fuse sockets in cabinets, bays and distribution boxes of low voltage electrical installations for the electrical separation of the installation.
Insulating blades for HRC fuse sockets are made of red polycarbonate, in three dimensions, depending on the fuse socket and are provided with metallic fixing lamella that allows the coupling to protective devices for the handling of HRC fuses.
By the temporary replacement of fuses, insulating blades allow the OPEN position locking of electrical circuits, thus preventing the accidental occurrence of voltage at the work site.
To that end, this equipment is marked ‘’DO NOT CONNECT - WORK IN PROGRESS’’.
