Get into the groove this summer by taking part in Evanston Public Library’s Summer Reading Program! Starting June 1 you can earn points by completing different activities like reading a book, singing a song, posting on social media, attending a library program, writing a poem and going to the beach just to name a few. Redeem points you earn for prizes and entries into our weekly and grand prize raffles! The Library will also be offering tons of free programs for kids, teens and families all summer long! There will be tons of awesome free programs for teens in grades 6-12 at all three Library loca- tions and other spots throughout the City. TEEN DIY Whether it’s duct tape creations, simple robotics, jewelry designing or coding, you’ll be able to try it all! Each week we’ll be offering a different hands on program. We pro- vide the supplies, so just bring your friends. TEEN IMPROV WORKSHOPS Today's TV and film stars Amy Poehler, Tina Fey, Stephen Colbert and Seth Rogen all got their start doing improv comedy in their hometowns. Come learn how to be funny on the fly. TEEN FILMMAKING: STOP-MOTION Learn how to create a stop motion animation film from start to finish, You will write, build, shoot and edit. FUSE Drop in and design 3-D printed jewelry, cars or even your head,. Create your own stickers , wire LEDs, mix your own ringtone, build an amp, or navigate a Lego Mindstorms robot through an obstacle course. TEEN DROP-IN GAMING Drop in and challenge your friends to a game on one

of our systems. We’ve got WII, PS4 and Xbox 360

games available to play but you’re welcome to bring

your E and T-rated (no M) games.

DIY FOR KIDS

Come learn about circuits, basic robotics or play with the

science of sound at these fun programs for school aged

children.
