INSTRUCTOR: my profile

• You may customize your Instructor page details with tools located at the bottom of your profile page.

• You can select your colors, upload your logo, and create a message for your audience that will show up at the bottom of the page.

• Your direct URL can be found in your my links section of the dashboard. Link this URL anywhere on the web or on social media to promote your custom profile.

• Emails composed within our system will match your custom profile, with your selected colors and branding.

• We are powering the engine but we want it to be about your brand and giving you tools to reach your target market.

• Finish setting up your profile by adding your website(s), including your twitter @name, and uploading an image of yourself, your company, or an image that represents the profile you are creating.

• Include a profile summary and full description. This would be a description of you, the instructor, or of the company profile you’re representing ie. Sal Cincotta or Photoshop Cafe. The profile summary allows up to 255 characters. This summary displays below a workshop when someone is searching. Your summary might include your(or the company’s) background in photography and history.

• Select your email notification preferences for signups and sell outs.

• Refund Policy: At Fisheye Connect we have a No Refunds policy due to the nature of the events and our collection and payment structure. You may use your discretion regarding refunds, exchanges, and returns. This information will appear on the workshop page, as well as in the confirmation email and receipt.

INSTRUCTOR: my subscriptions

• This area is free for subscribers and is so valuable because they can manage their subscriptions here as well as customize their notifications by location, certain instructors/companies, or by categories of interest. When you enter your workshop into our system. It automatically is queued to notify subscribers that match your event criteria.

•Notifications are sent out on Mondays of every week.

Copyright Fisheye Connect Inc. 2012 All rights reserved. 6

• My Subscriptions is an area to customize your weekly notification email with us. Every Monday morning, our system composes an email that contains a listing of Newly Pos ted Events . I t ’s basically an evolving table of contents of workshops and photography events.

• The listing contains postings for events happening this week, events happening next week, and workshops that were just released last week.

•We recommend leaving your notifications emails on default as an instructor but you can turn the weekly notification off, limit your notifications by category, or even limit notifications to event within a certain mile radius of you.

INSTRUCTOR: my workshops(adding a workshop)

• On the My Workshops screen you will see a summary of all of your workshops (past, present, and future). This will be the area where you will come to navigate and manage all workshops details.

• For your first workshop you would click “Add a Workshop” to create your first event and you will be taken to the main Edit Workshop screen.

• Fill out the following and hit SAVE to go on to the rest of the workshop details.

• Title: The Name of the Event/Workshop

• Categories: Select all categories that apply to your photography event

• Showcase Image: Select an image that will help convey to your audience what this workshop/event is about.

• Workshop Summary: When someone searches for events on our site it returns a listing of matches. This workshops summary will display on that listing so it needs to be a brief direct overview of the event.

• Materials: This will display on the workshop detail page. Do they need to bring their camera? Just pen and notebook? Laptop recommended? List materials they will need to bring to maximize their experience.

• Prerequisites: Some Workshops/Events have none. This is knowledge or skills that you would like them to have prior to registering for the event. For example, basic understanding of cameras, or, if it is Lighting 102, perhaps Lighting 101.

• Message for Registration Receipt: You can enter a custom message to your registrants to be included in their confirmation email. It can be as simple as “We’re looking forward to meeting you!” or a message such as “We will contact you with further details within one week of the event.”

• Full Description: This is a full description of the event, which will appear as the main body on the Workshop page. Links and photos may be embedded here with the html function.

INSTRUCTOR: my workshops (adding a date/location)

• Once you have saved the main Workshop page details you will be able to add a date. This is designed so that if you repeat these workshops/events you won’t have to keep adding the workshop to the system-- just add a new date and location.

• Enter the price per seat in U.S. Dollars. When someone registers, we collect the funds via AMEX, VISA, Discover, or Mastercard. Our payouts run biweekly and funds are distributed every two weeks either by check or direct deposit. Booking fees (14%) DO include all credit card and transaction fees.

• Early Registration Price: You can set a discounted price that expires on a certain date. This is great for encouraging early commitment.

• Summarize all upcoming and previous dates for the workshop. If this is a new workshop or you are adding a location/date, click the Add Date button.

• Enter the Start Date, End Date, and Time. Use local time of the event location. Enter the date and time when you will open registration. This is in EDT, so be sure to adjust the time if necessary. Finally, enter the Publish Date. The event will not be searchable and registerable until the published date and time is in the past. Once you have specified a publish date, the event will go live and you are then responsible for all registrations, booking fees, etc. The event will show up in the notification emails. Events with a publish date in the future will not be linked. For Online Events select Online and enter all times in EDT.

• Enter in the number of available seats. You may increase or decrease this number once registration is open, however you cannot decrease the number of seats below the number of seats that have already been sold.

• Workshop Roster: Click on “View Full Roster” to print and/or export and Excel document of the roster with all workshop dates.

• Email Attendees: Compose an email to all registered attendees here. See Manage Contacts for more details.

INSTRUCTOR: my workshops (adding a date/location)

• Guest Registration: You can allow a student to register and bring one guest, either at the price of one registration or at a discount.

• Facility Name: Is it a hotel or photography studio? The name of the location helps attendees pinpoint the location.

• Address: The city, state, and zip code is required to start accepting registration. It is recommended that you enter the full address to eliminate questions. This is displayed on the workshop summary and full description page. *not required for online option

• Instructors: If you have a guest speaker or are teaching the event with another instructor you can select them from our list of instructors here. Make sure they are aware that you are selecting them and that you have their permission prior. If you don’t see the instructor listed, you can shoot them an email and ask them to set up a profile on Fisheye Connect. It‘s easy and free. https://www.fisheyeconnect.com/instructor-signup.aspx Note: If you are setting up the event you are automatically considered the host and by default an instructor.

• Once you’re done, hit SAVE and your workshop is ready to go. Click on My Workshops on your dashboard to view the workshop. An example is below.

• All workshops will be summarized here. If you have multiple upcoming dates/locations you will be able to click on the date to go to that workshop. It also shows the average rating for your workshop once the event has passed. Click on the Event Title to view the detailed ratings and reviews left by attendees.

Copyright Fisheye Connect Inc. 2012 All rights reserved.

• To print/export a roster of an upcoming event, click on the date. The roster will be displayed on the right hand side. Or Click on the Title and the full Roster of all dates will be displayed.

• On the workshop page under the Add a Date button you will see a place to add a promo code (see example on right). Promo codes are per workshop and are valid for all dates and locations for that event.

• Below is what you will see when creating a promo code. There are three types of promo codes: dollar off amount, percentage off, and new ticket price.

Copyright Fisheye Connect Inc. 2012 All rights reserved. 10

• Dollar off amount: Takes a set dollar off amount the total. If combined with guest registration prices it will not apply it to the guest ticket also.

• Percentage off: Takes a set percentage of the total amount. If combined with guest registration prices, it will not apply to the guest ticket also.

• New ticket price: Changes the prices of the ticket to the new set amount. If used with a guest registration price it changes both tickets the new amount

• Keep in mind early bird pricing and guest pricing w h e n y o u s e t u p promotional codes.

• Export the full roster on the Workshop Homepage and all codes that were used will be in the data.

INSTRUCTOR: my links

• The My Links section of the dashboard is a collection of links and tools that we have created for you to implement or use on your blog, website, or social media. Below is a summary of each:

Copyright Fisheye Connect Inc. 2012 All rights reserved. 11

• Link to My Workshops: A URL link that will direct users to listing of your workshops only on FEC. This can be customized to your brand (see page 5).

• Link to My Profile: A URL that links to your profile and past ratings on FEC.

• Link to My XML: If you have a XML feed on your website or blog, you can use this link to connect all workshops listings.

• Code to Display My Workshops on My Website: Copy and paste this custom html code to insert it into your blog or website. See below*

• Link to My Individual Upcoming Workshops: To link to an individual upcoming workshop event, use the following links created just for you.

*Using the html code we generated for your workshop/events is easy. Drop the code into your blog and website and a box will be generated with all events, location city and state, date and time, price (red price color is for early bird price that has not expired), and a More Info button for users that directs them to the workshop page. By default, the height of the display is set to 100px, which displays about three workshops. If you have more, there will be a scroll on the right hand side. You can also adjust the height of the custom code by changing the pixel heights to your need (see code in red below). See below for an example of how the code will display on your website. If you change any details about your event after the code has been inserted, it will automatically update your listing display.

INSTRUCTOR: manage contacts

• My Contacts is an area where you can manage all of your contact lists. You can create a list, import a list, and compose an email in this area. You can also reach Compose Email from the Workshop screen noted on page 8. These two functions are the same and interlinked. This is just an easy portal to access all contacts from all workshops, and it will override the old information.

Copyright Fisheye Connect Inc. 2012 All rights reserved. 14

• Create Lists: Add contacts that you would like to use for composing emails on Fisheye Connect here. This will be available for use once a workshop/event is created. You can create as many lists as you like. When composing an email, you will be given the option to select a list. On the My Workshops area of the dashboard you will see Compose Email in the top right corner. To edit the list, click on the title of the contact list. To update someone’s contact info, just hit Add Contact and enter the correct information, and it will override the old information. If you have duplicate names on different lists, when composing an email they will merge and the person will only receive one email. You can also export this list.

• Import Lists: You can import email addresses as a .csv or .txt file. Place each email on its own line. Example: [email protected], First Name, Last Name. Do not include a header row. This can be done in Excel and saved as .csv. Importing is limited to 10,000 contacts at a time.

INSTRUCTOR: manage contacts(compose emails)

Copyright Fisheye Connect Inc. 2012 All rights reserved. 15

• Subscribers: You will see an area where you can manage your subscribers. Potential attendee can subscribe to your list by hitting subscribe on your profile or by adding you to their list. So when composing emails this list is there for you.

• Compose Email: This can be accessed on the Manage Contacts page or via the Workshop page. Select the desired email list. We do collect and create a list for each workshop, so you will see lists already created. Enter a subject, a header text, and your message into the body of the form. If you have a custom profile (see page 5), these emails will match your profile’s branding. You can send yourself a test email or send the email to all selected contacts.

• When composing an email you can select the standard email form. Use this to create a message to your contacts. If this is an email that you send often you can save it as a template to reuse it in the future.

• There is also a form that says announcement email. Using that template you can select from a workshop that you have entered into our system. It will autofill all of the information as well as embed a link of that new workshop. You can select all list and send an email announcing the new event.

• On Page 5 if you customize your profile any email that is send will look like your branding.

INSTRUCTOR: direct deposit details

INSTRUCTOR: change password & common FAQ

• To change your password, just click on Change Password on the Dashboard. It will ask for your current password, a new password, and confirmation of the new password.

Common FAQs

• When are payouts? Payouts run biweekly and a check or direct deposit is sent to the company or name you have listed.

• Do you market and promote my workshop? YES. We are actively promoting Fisheye Connect in the photography community via Google, Facebook, WPPI, and Rangefinder. We also have created some partnerships where we share some cross-promotional activities. Internally, we send out a weekly notification email to all users. These users have subscribed and are in the market for photography-related education. We also give you the tools and links to use with your social media and network.

• Does Fisheye Connect set up the workshop locations? Because of the nature of the workshops, we do not set up any locations. Instructors are responsible for all logistics and locations for their workshops and events.

• Can you get sponsors for my workshops? If you see one of our instructors sponsored by a company it is through their own means. We currently don’t offer any sponsorships for instructors out of fairness.

• What will it cost to sign up and what is the booking fee? It is free to sign up as an instructor and to have a profile on Fisheye Connect. The booking fee is 14%, which covers using the site, transaction and credit card fees, and the cost of marketing. You only pay if we sell a ticket.

• I have someone that wants to register can you refund their money? We have a No Refunds policy here at Fisheye Connect. Due to the nature of collecting the funds and sending them to the instructor before the event, we cannot do refunds.

Copyright Fisheye Connect Inc. 2012 All rights reserved. 17

• What if I don’t like my ratings and reviews? We don’t screen or dictate who can or cannot teach. This is why we allow ratings and reviews. We have never had a problem, but if you do please contact us.

INSTRUCTOR: attendee registration

• First, we are here to help with registration questions via email and phone. When someone registers, we send them a confirmation email along with a ticket to your event. Example of a ticket is below.

Copyright Fisheye Connect Inc. 2012 All rights reserved. 18

• 48 hours prior to the workshop we send out a reminder email and a duplicate ticket. If any location or content has changed we recommend sending everyone an immediate email; the ticket will display the most recent information. The tickets should help with sign-ins and can be matched up by printing the roster from the workshop page.

• After the event, we send a follow-up email thanking them and asking them to rate and review the instructor. The ratings and reviews will be viewable on the Workshops Dashboard and will also be accessible through your profile.

• If your notifications are on, we will notify you when someone signs up for your event and/or when the event sells out.
