SETTING UP YOUR COURSE

To prepare your course for the start of the term, you will need to complete the pairing process, deployment OR linking of assignments between Connect and IvyLearn.

Pairing your Connect course with IvyLearn will allow for you and your students to move between the two systems without the need to visit two separate websites and enter two different log-ins.

Additionally, once your IvyLearn course is paired with Connect, the scores from the Connect assignments will automatically appear in the IvyLearn gradebook.

Important Note *PLEASE READ BEFORE STARTING*:

If you are creating your Connect course on your own, you will follow the steps for PAIRING CONNECT WITH IVYLEARN and DEPLOYING ASSIGNMENTS INTO IVYLEARN (Instructor created content).

If you are teaching a traditional course (also known as “Face to Face”) but want to use the statewide version that you have to import from Commons, you will follow the instructions for PAIRING CONNECT WITH IVYLEARN and LINK ASSIGNMENTS FROM COPIED STATEWIDE COURSE/REPAIRING BROKEN LINKS (coordinator created content). You will not need to deploy them, which would create duplicate assignments and gradebook columns.

If you are teaching a statewide online course, you will follow the instructions for PAIRING CONNECT WITH IVYLEARN and LINK ASSIGNMENTS FROM COPIED STATEWIDE COURSE/REPAIRING BROKEN LINKS (coordinator created content)

Follow the steps provided below to complete the process.
