Instructor ePortfolio Guide
An ePortfolio is an electronic (web-based) version of a portfolio, similar to what an artist would
use to showcase his or her work. Creation of an ePortfolio provides students an opportunity to
showcase their skills, achievements and learnin at I!! !ech in a way that is easily shared with
potential employers and others for whom they miht want to display their work"
As part of their program of study, students are expected to create an ePortfolio and
upload at least one assignment from each course taken.Instructors will access their
students ePortfolios in order to evaluate these assignments. Assignments
appropriate for ePortfolio upload are generally designated in the course Instructor
Guide and other courseware documents. Where these assignments are not clearly
designated, the instructor should select one or more appropriate assignments that
will clearly showcase course learning o!ectives and ask students to upload these
assignments to the ePortfolio platform in order to receive a grade.
