Please read these instructions beforeinstalling and using your oven.The oven has been designed for domesticuse only for cooking food. No asbestos hasbeen used in its construction.

Using for the first timeBefore you use your oven for the first time,leave it empty and, with the door closed,turn it on to maximum temperature and letit heat up for 30 minutes. This "runs theoven in". During this time there may besome smell from the mineral wool thatinsulates the oven and there could besome smoke. This is perfectly normal.

Normal use- Always close the door properly. The ovenis fitted with a seal designed to work with aclosed door.- Never lean or let anyone sit on the ovendoor when it is open.- The oven parts and accessories canbecome hot when the door is left partiallyopen and the grill on. Always keep childrenat a safe distance.- When the oven is on it will get hot. Takecare not to touch the heating elementsinside the oven.

- Always protect your hands with ovengloves or something similar when removingfood, accessories or containers from theoven.- Do not line your oven with kitchen foil.The metal will increase the heat producedand could ruin the food and damage theenamel.- Before carrying out the pyro-cleaning ofyour oven, be sure to remove all ovenaccessories and wipe away major spillage.- Do not use a steam or high-pressurecleaner.- During the cleaning cycle accessiblesurfaces become much hotter than duringnormal cooking. Keep children at adistance.- Always check that the oven is off beforeyou clean the inside.

- For your safety your oven is equippedwith an AUTOMATIC STOP should youinadvertently forget to turn off your oven.After 10 hours' operation, the AS(Automatic Stop) function is activated andyour oven stops heating. AS is displayed inplace of the time and a series of2 successive pips is sounded for a certaintime.

Accessories

Anti-tip safety shelfFood can either be placed on the shelf in adish or cake tin for cooking or browning. Thisshould be used for grilled meat (which shouldbe placed directly on it).

Multi-purpose baking tray (reserved for pastries)This tray has a raised edge and can beused for baking pastries (choux buns,meringues, small cakes, flaky pasties, etc).Inserted in the runners under the shelf, itcatches the cooking juices and fat fromgrilled meat. It can also be used half-filledwith water as a double boiler. Joints should not be cooked in this trayuncovered because fat could spit all overthe oven sides.

Multi-purpose baking tray(dripping pan)This is used to catch the cooking juicesand fat from cooking carried out in the highgrill or pulsed grill settings. It can also beused as a cooking dish for suitably sizedjoints (for example: a chicken surroundedby vegetables, at medium temperature).Inserted under the shelf,this pan catchescooking juices and fat from grilled food. Itcan also be used half filled with water as adouble boiler.

45 mm multi-purpose dishFully accessible sliding railsystem

Thanks to the new sliding rail system withsupport (fully accessible) handling food ismore practical and easier as the trays canbe effortlessly removed for simplerhandling. The trays can be completelyremoved, providing full access. Theirstability ensures that food can be handledsafely, reducing the risk of burns. Thismeans that you can take food out of theoven far more easily. The drip tray at thebottom of the oven collects the juice andfat from roasting, and can be used half-filled with water as a bain-marie. Do notplace meat or poultry directly on the driptray for roasting. This would inevitablyproduce splashes and dirty the sides of theoven.WarningRemove the sliding rail system beforestarting a PYROLYSIS.

Child safetySafety activation- Open the door. - Press the switch on the panel until thesystem is engaged and then close thedoor.

Open with safety engaged - Press the lever and then open the door.

Safety deactivation - Open the door and press the switch onthe panel.

Using the programmer

How to set the time

When supplied with electricity

The displays flashes 12:00.

Set the time by pressing the + or – touchcontrols (holding your finger on the touchcontrol allows you to scroll through thenumbers rapidly).

Example: 12:30

Press the “ ” button to confirm.The display stops flashing.

To reset the time on the clockPress and hold the “ ” touchcontrol for a few seconds until the

display is flashing, then release.

Audible beeps indicate that it is nowpossible to set the time.

Immediate cooking

The programmer should display only thetime.It should not be flashing.

Select the function of your choice.

Example: position .

Your oven recommends the optimaltemperature for the chosen cooking mode.You can still adjust the temperature bypressing the °C button.

Adjust the temperature using the + and –touch controls.

Place your dish in the oven basedon the recommendations providedby the cook book.

After these steps, the oven heats up andthe temperature indicator flashes.

A series of beeps will be emitted when theoven reaches the selected temperature.The temperature stops flashing.

To stop cooking, press the button.

Warning

After a cooking cycle, the cooling fancontinues to operate for a period oftime in order to guarantee optimal ovenreliability.

Warning

All types of cooking are done with thedoor closed.

Cooking with immediate start andprogrammed duration

Select the desired cooking modeand adjust the temperature.

Press the “ ” button until thecooking time indicator starts to flash“ ”.

The display flashes to indicate that youcan now adjust the setting.

Press the + or – buttons to set thedesired time.Example: 30 min cooking time.

The cooking time is automatically recordedafter a few seconds.The cooking time display stops flashing.Press the button to start cooking.

After these three steps, the oven heatsup:

Cooking with delayed start and chosencooking end time Proceed as with programmed cooking.

After setting the cooking time, press the “ ” button until the end of cooking indicator flashes“ ”.

The display flashes to indicate that youcan now adjust the setting.

Press the + or – button to set thedesired cooking end time.Example: end of cooking at 13:25.

The cooking end time is automaticallyrecorded after a few seconds.The cooking end time display stopsflashing.

After these 2 steps, oven heating isdelayed so that cooking ends at 13.25.

At the end of cooking (end of programmedtime):- The oven stops- The cooking time indicator and 0:00 flash

- A series of beeps sounds for a fewminutes. The beeps can be definitivelystopped by pressing any touch control.The display returns to the time of day.The oven cavity is lit when cooking startsand the light switches off at the end ofcooking.2

Using the timer function

Your oven’s programmer can be usedas an independent timer that allows youto count down a time without operatingthe oven.

In this case, the timer display has priorityover the clock display.

Press the “ ” button until thetimer symbol begins flashing.-> 0.00 and a small hourglass

both flash.

Enter the desired time by pressingthe + or – buttons.

Press the “ ” button to confirm,or wait for a few seconds.

The display stops flashing after a fewseconds and the timer starts working,counting down the time in seconds.Once the time has expired, the timer emitsa series of beeps to notify you.The beeps can be stopped by pressingany touch control.

Note

It is possible to change or cancel thetimer at any time.

Setting the brightness of thedisplay

You can adjust the brightness of yourdisplay. To do this:

Set and confirm the time on yourprogrammer to 0:10.

Press and hold down the“COOKING TIME” button until

is displayed.

Press the + or – buttons in order toobtain the desired brightness.

Validate by releasing the “Cookingtime” button.

After having adjusted the brightness toyour liking, return your programmer to thecurrent time of day.

You can adjust the brightness of yourdisplay. To do this:

Press and hold the “START and C°”buttons for a few seconds until isdisplayed. All buttons light up for

one second.Your display is locked.

To unlock it, repeat this step. -> thelock symbol disappears2

Fan assisted grill(recommended temperature 200°Cmin 180°C max 230°C)

• Cooking controlled, alternately, by theupper element and by the fan.• Preheating is unnecessary. Roasts andpoultry are juicy and crispy all over.• Slide the drip tray onto the bottom shelfsupport.• Recommended for all poultry and roastson the spit, for cooking leg jointsthoroughly, and cuts of beef. To retain fishsteaks’ moist texture.

High grill(recommended temperature 275°C min 180°C max 275°C)

• Cooking controlled by the upper element.• The double grill covers the entire gridsurface.• It is recommended for grilling chops,sausages, toast or prawns placed on thegrid.

Traditional(recommended temperature 240°Cmin 35°C max 275°C)

• Cooking controlled by the upper andlower heating elements.• After preheating, you can cook mostdishes, recommended for keeping whitemeat, fish and vegetables moist.

ECO*(recommended temperature 200°Cmin 35°C max 275°C)

• Cooking controlled by the upper andlower heating elements.• This position allows for energy savingswhile preserving the quality of the cooking.• The ECO position is used for the energylabel performance.• All types of cooking are done withoutpreheating.

Keeping warm, pulsed(recommended temperature 80°Cmin 35°C max 100°C)

• This position allows you to keep yourfood warm by spurts of heat from theelement at the back of the oven combinedwith fan.• Recommended for letting dough rise forbread, brioche, kouglof... withoutexceeding 40°C (plate warming,defrosting).

Defrosting(recommended temperature 30°Cmin 30°C max 50°C)

• You can defrost in your oven with aminimum amount of heat as the fancirculating the air accelerates temperatureexchanges.• Recommended for defrosting delicatefoods (strawberries, raspberries).By increasing the temperature slightly, youcan defrost foods meant to be cookedimmediately after defrosting (meats, etc.).• Proceed with caution to prevent thefood from cooking. Meats should beplaced on the 2nd shelf support of thegrid, so that they are not in contact withthe defrosting juices; the drip tray on the1st shelf support.

Performing a pyrolysis

Immediate pyrolysis

Remove the grids and trays fromthe oven and clean any major spillresidue.

Check that the programmer isdisplaying the time of day and that itis not flashing.

You can choose between 2 pyrolysis cycletimes:

pyrolysis lasting 1 hour 30minutes.

pyrolysis lasting 2 hours.Press P twice for Eco Pyro.

Press the pyrolysis button required.

E.g.: 1 hour 30 minutes.When pyrolysis begins, the symbol isdisplayed in the programmer along withthe pyrolysis cycle time.

The symbol is displayed in theprogrammer indicating that the door islocked.When pyrolysis finishes, 0:00 flashes aswell as the symbol.

Press any button to restore the timedisplay.

The oven is clean and once againready for the cooking application ofyour choice.

Warning

During Pyrolytic Cleaning the Ovenbecomes very hot. Allow extra timemaking sure the oven has cooledsufficiently before opening the door.

Notes:

The cleaning temperature cannot beadjusted. During the pyrolysis cycle, theoven lighting is off. If your oven is notclean after a pyrolysis cycle, you waitedtoo long to launch the cleaning cycle.Repeat the cycle.

Delayed pyrolysisFollow the instructions described inthe section “Immediate pyrolysis”,then:

Press P to select the pyrolysisfunction desired.

Press the button.The end of cooking time flashes toindicate that it is now possible to

set it.

Press the + or – button to set thedesired end time.

Example: end of cooking at 18:00.

After these steps, the beginning ofpyrolysis is delayed so that it finishes at18 hours

The Cleaning function

Cleaning the outer surfacesTo clean both the electronic programmerwindow and the oven door, use a windowwashing product applied to a soft cloth.Do not use abrasive creams or scouringsponges.

Cleaning the door (model WITHPYROLYSIS function) Disassembling the doorWarningBefore removing the glass, allow theappliance to cool down.

Open the door completely and blockit open using the two red stops.They are supplied with your

machine in the plastic pack.

Remove the first attached window asfollows:Insert the two red stops in the A slots

designed for this.

Lever these parts to release the glass.

Clean the glass using a soft spongeand washing-up liquid.Do not immerse the glass in water.

Do not use abrasive creams or scouringsponges. Rinse with clean water and dryoff with a lint-free cloth.WarningDo not use abrasive cleaning productsor hard metallic scrapers for cleaningthe oven’s glass door, as they couldscuff the surface and cause the glassto shatter.

If necessary, remove the door’s innerglass assembly. This assembly iscomposed of one or two sheets of

glass (depending on model), each of whichhas a black rubber corner pad.

After cleaning, reposition the fourrubber pads, taking care to follow theindications on the glass:

* top left: L* top right: R

Place your inner glass assembly inthe door so that L and R are locatedon the hinge side.

- If your oven is equipped with a singleinner sheet of glass, it must be located asclose as possible to the clipped glass.

Clip in your last glass sheet byplacing the indication “PYROLYSIS”so that it faces you.

Remove the red plastic stops.

Your appliance is again operational.

WarningBefore beginning pyrolysis, remove all

the accessories inside the oven,including all cookware.Before beginning pyrolysis, clean anymajor spill residue that may haveoccurred to avoid the risk of a fire orthe production of excessive smoke.- During pyrolysis, the surfacesbecome hotter than during normal use;children must be kept away.- Do not cover the interior of the ovenwith aluminium foil. This woulddamage the enamel on the ovencavity..The door effectively locks a fewminutes after the start of the cycle.Pyrolysis stops automatically. Whenthe temperature reaches approximately275°C, it is then possible to open thedoor.

Connecting upAs a specialist, you alone are competent toinstall and connect up ASKO appliances.Our guarantee therefore applies only andexclusively to appliances which have beeninstalled and connected up by you inaccordance with the provisions of currentregulations.

Failure to meet this requirement wouldincur the fitter's liability and release theASKO company from any liability.

The electrical connections are made beforethe oven is installed in its housing.• The oven must be connected using anapproved 3-core cable (live, neutral andearth) with 1.5 mm square conductors.This should be connected via a 3- pin-socket (live, neutral, and earth to the mainsupply which should be should be a 220-240V, alternating single-phase current.If the oven is not connected using a plugand socket, it must be connected to amulti-pole switch with a minimum gap of3 mm between contacts. The earth wire(green and yellow) should be connected tothe terminal marked with the earth symbol

on the appliance and to the earth in theswitch.• Where the oven is connected using aseparate plug and socket this must beaccessible after the oven has beeninstalled.• The neutral wire (blue) of the oven mustbe connected to the neutral in the mainsupply.• Tighten the clamp to hold the cable.• Close the trapdoor using the two screws.

• The supply cable (H05 RR-F, H05 RN-For H05 W-F) must be long enough to allowthe oven to rest on the floor in front of itshousing.

With the oven sitting on the floor anddisconnected:• Open the trapdoor at the bottom righthand side at the back of the oven byremoving the 2 screws and swinging thedoor away.• Remove the sheath from each wire in thenew cable up to 12 mm.• Twist the ends carefully together.• Unscrew the terminal screws and removethe wires that need changing.• Pass the new cable through the wireclamp to the right of the terminals.• Connect the wires up in accordance withthe markings on the terminals.• Make sure all wires are trapped under thescrews.• The brown wire (live) going to terminalmarked L.• The green and yellow wire (earth) goingto the one marked .• The blue wire (neutral) going to theterminal marked N.• Tighten the screws and check, by tuggingon each wire, that they are firmlyconnected.• Tighten the clamp to hold the cable.• Close the trapdoor using the two screws.

Installer's information

Housing

NBThe oven may be housed either undera work surface or built into a columnthat is open* or closed with a suitableopening.

Your oven works at its best and producesexcellent results when cooking andcleaning itself, if its air circulation is notcompromised:• The oven must be centred in the unit sothat there is a minimum distance of 5 mmbetween it and the surrounding unit.• The housing unit or its outer surface mustbe capable of withstanding heat.• To ensure the oven rests firmly in thehousing, screw it to the housing unit usingthe holes on the side uprights provided(see diagram).

To do this:Remove the rubber stoppersmasking the fixing holes.

To prevent the housing unitsplintering, drill two holes 3 mm indiameter in the wall of the housing

unit opposite the fixing holes.Attach the oven using the twoscrews.

Conceal the hole using the rubberstoppers. (These also help tocushion the closing of the oven

door).(*) If the housing unit is open at the back, the gapmust not be more than 70 mm.

Leave the oven to cool down beforecleaning it manually.

In general, don't use any type ofscouring powder or metal-backedsponge, or any sharp objects forcleaning.- Make sure the oven is switched offand not hot.- Avoid touching heating elements.

Changing the light bulb• The bulb is located in the top of the oven.

Unscrew the protective shade (seediagram).

Pull the bulb out.

The bulb used is a:- 25 W- 220-240 V- 300°C- G9 Cap

Change the bulb, replace the shadeand switch your oven back on at themains.

WarningSwitch off the power at the main switchbefore attempting to change the bulb.Leave the oven to cool if necessary.
