INSTRUCTIONS FOR DOG HANDLERS

 

ADMISSION:

Handler and performing dog:

Each performing dog will be allotted (1) 3 day pass for its handler upon arrival to the exhibitor entrance

Other attendees :

Discount is only offered presale and online at ixsportshow.com . Click on the “buy tickets” link and use the discount code “DOCKDOGS” for $2.00 off each ticket at checkout. Attendees, day of the event, will need to purchase admission tickets at the IX Box Office at full price.

PARKING:

Parking is $10 per day at the event for a standard vehicle. You can purchase discounted parking passes for $8.00 a day in advance of the show by going to http://dockdogs.com/eventscal/cleveland-outdoor-adventure-show/ and following their link.

INSTRUCTIONS UPON ARRIVAL:

Once you have parked, enter through the West Lobby. For Dog handlers, check-in will be at the Cleveland Outdoor Adventure Show exhibitor’s entrance. From there, look for the Dock Dogs entrance to take you to the staging area. All other attendees can enter through the main entrance designated for the public.

PROOF OF VACCINATIONS Proof of rabies is required to enter the building. Please bring a current tag, documentation from your vet, ect.

RULES FOR DOG HANDLERS

STAGING AREA: A staging area is provided for your convenience.

This is where you will be able to put your kennels and other items needed for this show. Everything must be carried in or brought in on a 2 wheel cart only. NO food, drinks, or alcoholic beverages are allowed in the building. You will be allowed to bring in dog food and water for your dog. There will be a door close to the staging area to take your dog outside for exercise and to go to the bathroom. You are responsible for cleaning up after your dog both outside and in the building.

ADDITIONAL RULES: This is a public show………..

Dogs must be on a lead at all times, unless performing.

If unattended, dogs must be crated.

Dogs may walk on the showroom floor with a handler; again they must be on a leash at all times.

Uncontrollable and unruly dogs will be asked to leave as determined by show management.
