INSTRUCTIONS FOR CREATING REEF ACCOUNTS AND REGISTERING FOR MCB 244 FALL 2017
If you are creating a Reef account for the first time complete the first 5 steps. If you already have a Reef
account you can skip the first 5 steps.
Visit app.reef-education.com or download the free iOS app from the iTunes App Store or Android app
from Google Play and select Don’t have an account? Sign Up!
1. In the Find your institution box type University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign and click on the link below when it populates.

4. On the next screen create your account password and you’re done with the initial setup.
5. Reef will then ask you do you want to register a remote. Click Not Now.
2. On the next screen fill in the following information.
• First Name: Your first name
• Last Name: Your last name
• Email: your University of Illinois email address [[email protected]]
• StudentID: your University of Illinois NetID
3. Check the box next to ‘I agree to the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use’ and click Next.

To add MCB 244 to your Reef account complete the following steps.
6. Either log into your existing account or the account you just created and select the plus sign in the upper right corner.
7. Enter University of Illinois
at Urbana-Champaign in
the ‘Find Your Institution’
box and click the name
when it populates.
8. On the next screen enter
mcb 244 and hit enter.
Our course should
populate.

When you first register, you will automatically given 15 day guest access. In order to ensure you ddo not
lose access to our course, you will need to purchase access before within the first 15 days of registering.
For instructions on how to purchase a subscription complete the following steps.
9. On the Confirm Course screen
click Add This Course and
you’re done.
1. To purchase a subscription, login to
your Reef account, select the menu
icon, and select subscriptions.

2. Select the subscription expiration
date and choose which subscription
you would like to purchase. This can
be purchased in the mobile app or by
entering credit card information
online.
3. On the next screen you have the
option of either purchasing a
subscription or entering the access
code if you’ve already purchased
one. Note: if you’ve recently
purchased a new iClicker remote, it
may come with an access code for 6
months of iClicker Reef access. You
can only enter access codes on the
Subscriptions menu of the web
application, not the mobile
application.
