Instructions for Accessing the ePAF Site The ePAF system is accessible from any computer with internet access. FROM A COMPUTER WITHIN THE PCCD COMPUTER NETWORK If you are physically located at any of the colleges or at the district office and you are working from a computer connected into the district’s secure administrative computer network, you may access the ePAF site by simply typing the word epaf in the address bar on your computer browser. You may also use the following URL: http://epaf/Peralta/Login.aspx. This is the initial login screen. Go to page 4 for login instructions: If you are physically located at any of the colleges or at the district office, but you are accessing the internet through an open wireless connection, you will not be able to access the ePAF site in this manner. Likewise, if you are in a student lab or working on a computer that is connected to the internet through the educational network, you will not be able to access the ePAF site in this manner. Instructions for accessing the ePAF site from outside of the district’s secure network begin on the next page.

FROM  A  COMPUTER  OUTSIDE  OF  THE  PCCD  NETWORK  

If  your  computer  is  not  connected  to  the  district’s  administrative  computer  network,  you  can  still  access  the  ePAF  site  through  the  District’s  web  VPN  (virtual  private  network).    Start  by  visiting  a  page  within  the  peralta.edu  web  domain.    Try  http://web.peralta.edu/.    At  the  top  of  the  page  is  a  link  to  the  “MyPeralta”  site.  

 

 

Click  on  that  link  and  it  will  take  you  to  the  following  page.    Select  the  “Faculty  &  Staff”  link.  

 

 

It  will  take  you  to  the  page  below.    Select  the  PROMT/Passport  by  WebVPN”  link:  (http://access.peralta.edu).

The  screenshot  below  shows  the  next  page  you  will  see.    Follow  the  instructions  by  entering  your  username  (don’t  type  @  peralta.edu)  and  your  password.  

 

 

Click  “Continue”  on  the  next  screen.  

 

 

On  the  next  screen,  you  should  see  links  to  a  number  of  applications  that  depends  on  you  specific  access.    In  order  to  access  the  ePAF  site,  you  should  see  the  following  link.    Click  on  this  link.  

 

 

You  should  then  be  directed  to  the  ePAF  login  screen.

Click  on  the  login  button.  

 

You  will  be  prompted  to  log  into  the  ePAF  system.  This  time,  type  in  your  full  email  address  and  then  enter  your  password.    After  you  are  authenticated,  you  should  see  the  following  page,  which  is  confirmation  that  you  are  in  the  ePAF  site.
