your cursor over one of the squares in the corners. Click and drag the image until it is the desired size.

Image is in the wrong place Place your cursor over the image, then click and drag the image to the desired location.

Incorrectly resized image Place your cursor over the image and right click. In the drop-down menu, select “Size and Position”. At the bottom of the window, click the button labeled “Reset”, then click “OK”.

Animation doesn’t work Animated image formats (such as GIFs) do not animate within Microsoft Word.

Image is flipped/inverted Place your cursor over the image and left click. Place your cursor over one of the squares in the corners. Click and drag the image towards the opposite side of the picture from the box you selected until the image flips. Repeat until the image is correct.

Can’t find image to insert Make sure that you are searching in the folder the image is located in. If the image still does not show up, make sure the image is a file type supported by Microsoft Word.

Changing the text wrapping didn’t do anything

In order for text wrapping to work, the image should be near text. Sometimes the effects of text wrapping are

less noticeable depending on the amount of text and the size of the image.

Clicking on link does not open file In order to follow a link in Word, make sure you are holding the CTRL button while left-clicking on the link. If that still fails, delete the link and re-insert it.
