Attendees will: 4 experiment with document creation in Google Drive comparable to Word,Excel and PowerPoint 4 learn about collaboration and sharing Google Docs 4 practice using the Google+ community platform 4 showcase how to develop a Google Sites website Webinar 3: STEM Specific Instructional Tools Overview March 15, 2016, 4 to 5 p.m. is webinar will feature a variety of cloud-based applications that STEM teachers can use to enrich teaching & learning interactions in their discipline. Attendees will: 4 learn about online STEM teaching resources 4 review a number of tools noted to transform STEM education 4 examine the use of iPads in teaching STEM subjects 4 actualize models that integrate technology to create learning experiences that invoke communities of inquiry, collaboration, investigation, practice and presentation. Webinar 4: Best Practices and Strategies for Teaching in Web-Enhanced Environments April 7, 2016, 4 to 5 p.m. is webinar will provide an overview of online teaching strategies such as Flipping the Classroom and other recommended best practices. Attendees will: 4 recognize instructional best practices for teaching in web-enhanced classrooms 4 identify several learning theories relevant to web-enhanced instruction 4 survey several types of web-enhanced teaching platforms 4 examine teaching strategies that sustain communication and classroom engagement continued on the back . . .
