SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS FOR EVOLUTION JETNET/AERODEX

• Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows 98SE, Windows ME, Windows 2000, Windows XP & Vista.

• Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.X (Preferably Version: 6.0.2800.1106).

• Visual Basic V6.0 Runtimes.

• MDAC V2.7.

• MSJet V4.0 (if you keep NOTES and you are running Windows 95).

• Access to the local Registry for Reading/Writing.

• Access to the hard drive for Reading/Writing (if you keep NOTES).

• Adobe Acrobat Reader 5.1.

• WinZip/PKZip (Unzipping utility).

• Microsoft Internet Explorer MUST have the following Security Settings:

1.) open Internet Explorer 2.) Go to “TOOLS”

a. “Internet Options 3.) This will bring up the Internet options dialogue box.

4.) Click on the security tab 5.) On the security tab there is a option to select “Trusted Sites” click on that

6.) Click Sites

7.) Add www.jetnet.com to the line that says Add this website to the zone:

Be sure to uncheck the box that says “Require server verification (HTTPS)…”

9.) Click Close and then click OK. You can now login.

Key Features to the Evolution Service

Dialog Box – located at the top right of screen the Dialog Box will:

A) prompt you as to what to do next – “Enter your search criteria and then click on the Go button….”

B) advise you that Evolution is now searching for your desired list – “Searching please wait…”

C) remind you of your search criteria upon pulling up a list – “Aircraft Make Equals Learjet, Aircraft Model Equals 35A, Aircraft Base Equals TX”

Preferences Button – located just above the Dialog Box. Allows you to customize certain default settings for your access to Evolution. These include:

- Number of Records Per Page – the maximum number of records viewable on a single screen. JETNET has preset this to 10…. a search producing is 80 records you will be presented in 8 screens having 10 records each. Caution: the larger you set the value the longer a resulting list will take to produce on the screen.

- Do Not Show Aircraft Pictures – allows you to decline access to pictures attached to aircraft records in cases where your Internet speed is especially slow.

- Local Aircraft Notes – a small optional interface allowing you to enter and maintain notes specific to aircraft by serial number. Notes are maintained on the user’s PC or server and cannot be viewed or transferred by JETNET.

- E-mail Request Service - allows you to call up select JETNET data and reports via your JETNET account to a PDA, Blackberry, Cell Phone or other hand-held internet capable devise.

To save changes to Preferences click the Save These Preferences button at the lower left of the screen. Bulletin Board link – top left of screen just under the Evolution logo. A free service for members of the JETNET Network to communicate among each other. Entries are listed at least 30 business days. New Features As Of link – top right of screen just under the Dialog Box. Explanation and/or instructions for new features added or changes made to the Evolution service. New entries are indicated by a change of date in the link itself. Basic Operational Pointers for Using Evolution

List Boxes – Evolution is replete with List Boxes offering selections in aircraft make, model, base, market status etc., etc. Simply click you mouse to select an item listed. Three tips to navigate List Boxes include (all are standard Windows functionality):

A) Ctrl Click – to select multiple items in a list box click on the first item and then press the Ctrl key and click on each subsequent item desired.

B) Shift Click – to select multiple and consecutively listed items in a list box click on the first item and then scroll to the last item listed and press the Shift key and click.

C) Alpha Select – to immediately drop down in a list box to a given point in the alphabet click on the “All” selection (very top of the list box) and press the letter you desire.

Go button – top and bottom left side of screen. This launches a search. It may be substituted by clicking the Enter key. Clear All button – top and bottom right side of screen. This will delete all previously entered search criteria for the module you are in. Projects button – top and bottom ride side of screen (next to Clear All). Search criteria may be saved for a future use.

- Enter your desired search criteria - Click the Projects button

- Enter for the “Project Name” (required) - Enter for the “Project Description” (optional) - Click “Save as New Project” button - your project name now appears in the “Projects On

File” window. Executing a Project Search:

- Click the Projects button - Click on the desired project name in the “Projects on File” window - Click the “Load” button - Close Projects…your project search criteria are now loaded - Click GO to perform the search.

Search button – top left on a listing screen. Returns you back to the cross-reference screen of the module you are in. DATABASE MODULES OF EVOLUTION

Aircraft - the primary database where current information is maintained on all aircraft in Evolution. History – an archive database of transaction history and other ownership events recorded since 1988 on all aircraft in Evolution. Companies – a database of all companies and individuals recorded within any of the Evolution database modules. Performance Specs – a database of size, weight, speed, range and configuration data for each make and model aircraft in Evolution (fixed wing only). Operating Costs – a database of direct, fixed and annual operation costs for each make and model aircraft in Evolution (fixed wing only). Events – an archive database of changes in status and information recorded on all aircraft in Evolution. Market Summaries – an archive database of monthly, quarter annual and annual reports on the state of the market for each make and model aircraft in Evolution (fixed wing only). Wanted – a database of companies and individuals currently seeking to acquire aircraft.

Advanced Criteria

Advance Criteria is a series of six additional cross-reference search screens that may be appended to the Aircraft, History and Events database modules. These make possible very specified and refined searches of aircraft. Included are: Additional Parameters – 14 searchable parameters on aircraft regarding when it was purchased, airframe age, time on airframe and motor, expiration of leases and expiration of fractional ownership.

- Select a desired parameter in the first list box - Set the Condition list box: Equals, Less Than, Greater Than or Between. - Enter for the value of the parameter selected (see Format field to the right)

Aircraft Base – search for aircraft by their base location. Search options include:

- IATA, ICAO airport code – for multiple airports use a coma between codes - City Name of airport - Continent or Region - Country - State/Province - Airport Name

Avionics – search for aircraft by avionics they are reported to be equipped with.

- Open the Name list box and select the desired avionics item to search for - In the Description field enter the make name and/or model of the avionics item you

desire. Important Feature Codes – search for aircraft having (or not having) special equipment, features or reported damage history.

- Open the list boxes to select up 6 items - To the right of each item select Yes or No to indicate aircraft equipped or not equipped

with the selected item.

- Click the Codes link to see a list of searchable equipment and the aircraft models for which these are relevant.

Aircraft Specs – search for aircraft by:

- Maintenance Regulation: FAR’s, CAR’s JAR’s etc. - Engine Model - Engine/Prop Serial Number - Engine Times / Hours to next overhaul - Aircraft Interior/Exterior Details - Engine Maintenance and Management Programs - Airframe Maintenance and Engine Management Programs

Company Demographics – search for aircraft by specific criteria with regards to their owners and operators. Company Demographics is particularly useful for targeting select audiences for mailing campaigns and other mass solicitations. Search criteria include:

- Relationship to Aircraft – specify the affiliation of companies to aircraft. - Company Name - Company City - Agency Type – civilian or government - Business Type - Location of companies – by continent, region, country, state/province, time zone. - Contact persons in companies - Title of contact persons in companies

EXPORTING Evolution Report Viewer - Data exporting is accomplished via the Evolution Report Viewer. To open the Report Viewer locate and click the Export Report button located at the top right of any listing in Evolution.

Performing An Export: upon producing a listing for export do as follows. - Open the Evolution Report Viewer - top right of the listing locate and click the Export Report button. - Select A Report Option - from the Report Viewer window choose a report. (NOTE: options labeled “blind form” are void of any identifying information.) - Select An Output Format – for a given Report option choices of format and in some cases information to be included or excluded will be presented at the right. These may include:

- HTML - Excel - Text (comma delimited) - Text (tab delimited)

- Example Button - before committing to doing your export you may first opt to view an example report of bogus data formatted as per your selections made above. Click the Example button at the lower left of the Report Viewer window. - Run Your Report – two options:

1) Run Report Locally – runs the report on your PC. Locate and click the Run Report button at lower left of the Report Viewer button.

2) Submit Report to JETNET – sends report request to JETNET to run. This is a free service. Requests are processed in the order in which they are received. - click the box “Submit request to JETNET to run this report.” - click the Submit Request button

Using your JETNET account you can call up JETNET data when remote from your PC via hand-held mobile devices such as a Blackberry, Palm Pilot or IPaq, even a cell phone with text based email capability Activating the E-mail Request Service: - Click the Preference button, at bottom enter your EMail Name, EMail Address - Select Default E-Mail Format you wish to receive reports in: HTML or TEXT - Click the Save Theses Preferences button. NOTE: Most mobile devices use TEXT based email while Hotmail, Yahoo and Outlook can receive HTML. The information is the same on either. However, HTML offers color text and better formatting techniques. Also, certain reports include fields that are hyperlinked to help in requesting additional JETNET data. All of the reports have been created to accommodate small screen devices. Preference Page
