Terminology

Portfolio: A collection of one’s work

E-Portfolio or ePortfolio: A portfolio in any electronic or digital format

Webfolio: An online (web-based) format of ePortfolio.

Etymology: From Italian Portafoglio (porta = to carry, foglio = sheet).

Build Your Home Page

Use Internet Explorer for Windows for best results.

From home page1. Select Create this page or Revise this page2. Enter “Welcome to My Site” in content area3. Highlight your entry and change text font and

color*4. Press Save

Build Header and Footer

From side menu1. Expand Admin Tools

2. Select Header/Footer

3. In the Header section, enter your name, change text size and color

4. Leave the footer as is for now

5. Press [Save]

* Header and footer are applied to the entire site.

Modify Side Menu

From side menu1. Expand Admin Tools2. Select Side Menu3. Click on About me4. Click on Up arrow to move it up5. Press [Save]

• Top and Side menus are applied to the entire site.• Click on Side menu help to see more features.

Create A Class

1. Select Classroom from top menu2. Select Classes from submenu3. Select New Class4. Enter class info5. Enter 123456 for Access Code6. Press [Save]

You’ll be redirected to Course info page1. Enter Course info2. Press [Save]

Build Side Menu - Purpose

Change the label of “home” side menu to “purpose”

1. Select Admin Menu

2. Select Side Menu

3. Select “Home” from the box on the right

4. Change its label to “Purpose”

Change the label of “Calendar” to “Tasks” Similar to changing “home” to “purpose”

Click on up arrow to move this menu to the second position

Add a custom page and change its label to “goals”

1. From the left box select any “custom” options2. Click on Right Arrow to move it to the box on

the right 3. Click on Up Arrow to move it to the 3rd position

Add another custom page and name it “project 1”

On the “My Work” page, student is required to add three files.

1. Click on “My Work” and select “Create this page”

2. Type an intro: “These are my documents:”
