Getting Started: Installing Okta Verify All Employees

The Okta Verify application allows you to verify your identity by sending a push notification via the app.

INSTALLING THE OKTA VERIFY APPLICATION

FOR iPHONE

1. Open the App Store and search for “Okta Verify”. Press the + GET button to begin the download.

2. Once the download has finished, the application should be available on your home screen. Skip to the “Configure Okta Verify” section to connect the app to your Marymount account.

FOR ANDROID

1. Open the Google Play Store and search for “Okta Verify”. Press the Install button to begin the download.

2. Once the download has finished, the application should be available on your home screen. Skip to the “Configure Okta Verify” section to connect the app to your Marymount account.

CONFIGURE OKTA VERIFY

1. After logging into SaintsConnect on your computer for the first time, you will be automatically redirected to the multifactor authentication setup screen. Click the Setup button under “Okta Verify”. Next, select your device type.

2. In your phone, open the Okta Verify app and click the blue Add Account button.

3. If prompted to allow your phone to allow camera access, click the blue Continue button and choose “Allow” and “OK”.

4. On your computer, a QR code will automatically be generated. Point your phone camera towards the QR code to scan it.

● NOTE : For security purposes, the QR code in the figure below is blurred. On your computer, it should appear normally.

4. On your computer, click the blue Finish button.

5. From now on, every time you log into SaintsConnect, you will see a screen in which you can instruct the Okta Verify app to send a push notification to your phone. Click the Send Push button to continue.

6. In your phone, a notification will appear. Press it to approve the login. Unlock your phone if prompted.

7. The “Login Request” page will automatically appear. Click the Approve button to continue. Your Workday home page should automatically load.
