1. Go to URL

Go to URLhttp://atlassian.com/software/jira/downloadto create a free account for 30 days withunlimited users.

2. Windows 32-bit Installer

Here you can see many options in drop down list. Choose Windows 32-bit installer from the dropdown list, and click on download.

3. Open .exe File

Once the download is completed, open it up.

4. JIRA Installation Wizard

When you run the downloaded file, the JIRA Installation Wizard will appear.

5. Click Next

Click on Next button.

6. Setup

You can select an express install which automatically selects the default installation settings or acustom install. You can also go for the custom route but you will need to define your own settings.Here we are going ahead with an express install.

7. Installation Summary

You can see that all of the defaults were chosen.

8. Click Install

Now, click on Install button.

9. Installation Wizard

The Installation Wizard will automatically launch JIRA when the installation is complete. It shouldopen in a browser.

10. Click Finish

Click on Finish button. If JIRA does not appear in your web browser you may need to change theport that JIRA runs on.
