Installing FWCS VPN Software on a NON-FWCS Computer
This documentation was created using Windows XP with Internet Explorer 8 (other operating systems and/or browsers may respond differently). VPN is not supported on iPads.
In the browser window type, https://vpn.fwcs.k12.in.us
Enter your Novell Username and Password. Click Login.
Click Continue.
Select FWCS VPN Software
If using a Windows computer select AnyConnect Client for Windows. In the File Download Security Warning window click Run.
In the Internet Explorer Security Warning window click Run.
Cisco AnyConnect VPN Client Setup appears. Click Next.
Select I agree to the terms of the License Agreement. Click Next.
Click Install.
Click Finish.
Click Start. Click Cisco AnyConnect VPN Client.
If it does not show in the Start menu, navigate by way of Start, Programs, Cisco, Cisco AnyConnect VPN Client and Cisco AnyConnect VPN Client.
Connect To: vpn.fwcs.k12.in.us. Click Select.
Enter your Novell Username and Password. Click Connect.
Read the disclaimer. Click Accept.
You are connected. See the padlock in the system tray.
Always remember to disconnect when you are finished working. Right click on the padlock and click Quit.
