When the InstallShield Wizard is ready, click 2. Next > to proceed.

Double-click 1. 3VR_Client_Applications-Release-6.0.6.XXXXX.exe to begin the installation process.

Installing 3VR OpCenter and SystemManager

3VR Client Applications Minimum System Requirements:Operating System Windows XP Professional SP2 or later, Windows Vista

Processor Intel and AMD CPUs, 1.1 GHz or higher

Display Any display capable of 1024x768 resolution or greater

Memory 512 MB RAM or greater

Storage 500 MB

Network Requirements:Bandwidth Broadband connection (384 Kb/s or greater) to 3VR server recommended.

Greater bandwidth will result in a better user experience when viewing stored or live video.

3VR OpCenter™ and SystemManager™ client software allows you to access and manage a 3VR SmartRecorder from any PC on your network that meets the minimum system requirements below.

2 Installing Client Applications

The InstallShield Wizard will display the 3VR Client 3. Applications End User License Agreement.

To accept the terms of the agreement, select 4. I accept the terms in the license agreement.

To install OpCenter and SystemManager, select 6. Custom.

Under 3VR Client Applications, click the red 8. icon beside 3VR SystemManager. From the menu, select the option This feature, and all subfeatures, will be installed on local hard drive.

Click 5. Next > to proceed.

Click 7. Next > to proceed.

Click 9. Next > to proceed.

Click 10. Install to begin the installation.

When installation is complete, click 11. Finish to exit the wizard.

A dialog will be displayed prompting you to enter 3. the license key.

Enter the license key in the text field. If the license 4. key is correct, the OK button will be enabled.

Click 5. OK to enter the license key and proceed to the application’s login screen.

Contact 3VR Customer Support by email ([email protected]) or by phone at (415) 513-4572 to request 1. license keys for the client application that you are installing.

detailsA license key is required the first time each application is run on a new remote client. License keys change daily, so a key received from technical support will not be valid for subsequent installations performed on a different day.

Contact 3VR Technical Support by email ([email protected]) or by phone at (415) 513-4572 and provide your SmartRecorder’s serial number* to obtain a license key for OpCenter that will be valid for the day of the installation.

* Serial numbers are located on the outside of the unit.

Double-click 1. 3VR_Client_Applications-Release-6.0.6.XXXXX.exe to begin the upgrade process.

When the upgrade is complete, click 4. Finish to exit the wizard.

A dialog confirming that proceeding will upgrade 2. the client applications currently installed on the system will appear. Click Yes to continue.

When the InstallShield Wizard is ready, click 3. Next > to perform the upgrade.

The InstallShield Wizard will automatically upgrade all 3VR client applications currently installed on the remote client.

noteThe most recent software release for both the 3VR SmartRecorder and your PC can be downloaded from the 3VR Partner Portal. Contact the 3VR Group Administrator within your organization to obtain your Partner Portal user name and password.
