1 . InstallCanondrivers

ClickablankspaceonyourDesktop.Navigatetothe‘Go’menuonthetopofyourscreenandchoose‘ConnecttoServer’.

Anewwindowwillpopupaskingforaserveraddress.Enterthefollowingverbatim and click‘Connect’:

Awindowwillpopupaskingforyourcredentials.Deletetheword‘username’andenteryourMarquetteusername.Leavethe‘marqnet\’inplace.Enter your Marquettepassword and click‘Connect’.

Afinderwindowwillappear.Double-clickthe‘PS_v4.6.1_MAC.dmg’.

New PrinterInstallation

Anotherwindowwillpopupwiththeactualinstaller.Double-click ‘Canon_PS-Installer.pkg’toinitiatetheprocess.

Theinstallationwizardwill appear.Continuetheinstallationprocesstoobtaintheset ofCanondriversrequiredforprinting.Youwillhave to authenticatewithyourMarquetteusernameandpasswordtofinalizetheinstall.

2. Removeoldprinters

Nowthatwehavethedriversinstalled,wewillremoveanyoldsecureprintentries.StartbyopeningSystemPreferencesfromtheApplemenuatthetopofyourscreenandchoosing‘SystemPreferences’.

Click ‘PrintersandScanners’ on thescreen.

Highlight eachoftheoldprinters(Blue_Secure_Print,Gold_Secure_Print,Secure_Print)oneatatime,andclickthe(-)signnearthebottomleftofthatpopup.

3. Installnewprinters

Now that theoldprintersaregone,wecaninstallthenewprinters.Clickthe(+)signatthebottomleftandchoose‘AddPrinterorScanner’.

Clickthe‘IP’tabalongthetopofthenewwindow.Entertheinformationexactlyasseenbelow to add the Spiritprinter. Address: 134.48.28.221 Queue: Spirit Name: Spirit

Onceyouenterthatinformation,clicktheup/downarrows totheright ofGenericPostScript Printerandclick ‘ChooseSoftware’.

New PrinterInstallation

Basedonthemodelofyourprinter,choosethecorrectdriverfromthelistinthenewwindow.Youcanfindyourprinter’smodelonthedeviceitself,directlyabovethetouchscreen.

Onceyouenterthatinformation,clicktheup/downarrowstotherightofGenericPostScriptPrinterandclick‘ChooseSoftware’.Thedriver willbethesameastheSpiritprinter(driverlistonpreviouspage). Afterhighlightingtheappropriatedriver,click‘OK’.Finishtheinstallationbyclicking‘Add’.
