1 Introduction
Software CRE_1907 is the successor of software CRE_1901.
It contains the following improvements compared to software CRE_1901:
Improved self test of Slow Scan Motor Minimizing of the Error Viewer improved Following improvements are applicable for certain dealer configurations only:
Error 3192 does not occur anymore when the TWAIN client is closed Polygon and Photomultiplier high tension are switched off if the scan cycle is
cancelled (e.g. by pressing "Eject" button in the image processing application)
Additional minor changes and improvements
The required steps of software CRE_1907 installation depend on the type of installation:
Initial installation (during activation of the NX workstation software or during NX clean installation procedure) or
Upgrade installation
# Step Initial Installation
Upgrade Installation
See section
1 Check the installed software version.

Proceeding to fix the problem: (1) Press button "Get installed versions to trigger the versopn check once more.
Message "Versions are current" appears (see Figure 14).
(2) If message "Versions are current" does not appear: Repeat the software upload: Go back to step (8).
8 Performing a Stall Calibration for the Fixer Motor
Initial installation* This step is required for:
Upgrade Installation * during initial installation (= activation of the NX workstation software or during NX clean installation procedure) this step only has to be performed, if the software on the digitizer was below CRE_1907.
NOTE:
Together with software CRE_1907 a new type of fixer motor was introduced with different motor characteristics.
Software CRE_1907 in general supports all types of fixer motors. To ensure that the previous type of fixer motor runs at optimal speed a stall calibration of the fixer motor is required however.
If the stall calibration is not performed during software upgrade, throughput would be slightly decreased, as some movements of the fixer motor would be slower.
(1) Switch on the digitizer.
(2) In the CR 30-X Service Client select "Preventive Maintenance - Stall Calibration".
(3) Select "Calibrate Fixer".
(4) Wait until the stall calibration is finished: This takes approximately 1 minute.
