First installation of Bocad-3D

Dongle driver installation

If bocad has never been installed on your computer, you need first to install the dongle driver. For that, click dongle driver and follow the instructions. Be carefull!

- Plug in the dongle only after driver installation is complete. - Administrator rights are required to install drivers.

After click on Dongle-driver, choose the language.

Click Next.

Accept the licences agreement and click Install.

Now you can plug in the USB dongle.

Bocad 3D Installation or update Click Bocad-3D.

If Bocad has never been installed on your computer, here you can choose the folder in which you want to do the installation. By default, its C:\Bocad\.

If you dont have valid licences or if licences files are not yet installed, the following message will appear. You should have received a floppy or an email with pwd licences files. After clicking ok, you have to give the location where the .pwd are located on the hard drive.

For example here, its the folder C:\lictmp.

A log file will be opened automatically with the result of licences files copy. You can close this file and continue the procedure.

Select your client folder and click next. If its the first installation, click next to apply with the default client. If you want to create a new client, you can create a new folder and select this one. In that case, dont forget to select Client_data on product to install (see below).

Select the default folder for you bocad projects. Choisissez ensuite le dossier des projets bocad.

Apply the selection.

Click next.

Accept the licence agreement and click next.

- Select the shortcut of your language. - Select client_data to update your client (or start with a new one). - Select Glasbau ou Dawa to install glazing or cladding systems. - Select optional modules (OFS offshores, CAT towers, ).

Click next and then wait the end of the procedure.

Be patient!

Some important informations! Click ok.

Installation is completed. Click finish. Back to general menu.

Here you can exit. Temporary files will be deleted.
