Operating InterfaceIntroductionThe main screen includes three functions: main controls, data controls, and report.

A: Main controlsThere are five functions in main controls:

Button Function

Download your measurement data from the device to a specific account. You can select any account while downloading.

Search the data according to your preference. There are two searching modes can be selected from: "Searching for patients" and "Searching for records" can be selected.

B: Data controlsYou can click the buttons to select different operating functions. The functions vary slightly between each page. Below is the description of their primary function:

C: Reports sectionThis section displays the patient's analysis data, such as blood glucose result table, blood pressure trend graph or personal medical information such as medical history, patient's information, and clinic information.

Archive the patient data to your PC.

Customize this program for you. You can set language, units, print options, medical records and clinic information

Search: search by the patient or data

New window: showing the analysis result in a new window

Print: print the patient's report

Export: export the report of a specific time or patient

Save: save changes

Delete: delete the selected data

Data DownloadThis software is able to recognize the compatible meters. By connecting the selected meter with the computer, this software will record the measuring information, and download the information for data storage and analysis.

Procedures

New patientFor first time matching, you have to choose "New patient" to enter the basic information of the new patient to set up a new profile. ID and name are the required for adding a new patient. The first time a new meter connects with the software, select "New patient" and enter the information of the new patient. It is also required to fill out the ID and Name. After filling out the information, the new patient account is added.

Existing account matchingAfter the first connection, the software automatically selects "Download" when connecting to the meter and downloads the data to the specific patient's account.

Change account If you want to change the meter to match with another account, you can choose "Match to a patient" to match with another patient's account.





Data ArchivingThe data can be exported and saved to csv format for more effective data management in the clinic.

Export: Select the data by date range or patient, and then select the file folder to save it. The default folder is application installed directory.

Data QueryingIn the querying section, you can find patients' data to manage their files by search using different parameters or patients' information. This software also provides different types of blood glucose and blood pressure analysis reports.

You can use "Searching for patients" or "Searching for records" to search the data you need. Enter the searching criteria and double click the searching icon to view detail information.

MeasurementsThis page provides the personal information for one patient. The default page shows the list of all the information of this patient. Scroll down the page for more vital signs results and analysis. Click the search button for the analysis result.

All records table- review patient's blood glucose and blood pressure records.

Blood glucose records table- review the blood glucose record of this patient.

Blood glucose statistics table- presents the blood glucose statistical information of this patient.



Blood glucose linear trends- shows the blood glucose changes of this patient for each day.

Blood glucose pie chart- each pie chart represents different time of a day. It shows the blood glucose control ratio of this patient.



Blood glucose histogram- displays blood glucose distribution over time.

Blood glucose bar chart- shows the numbers of blood glucose outside the normal range in different periods.



Blood glucose standard day- shows the blood glucose distribution trend of this patient by time of day.



Blood glucose standard week- shows the blood glucose distribution trend of this patient by week.

Blood pressure records table- review blood pressure record of this patient





Blood pressure statistics table- shows the blood glucose statistical information of this patient.

Blood pressure linear trends- shows the blood pressure and pulse records of this patient.



Blood pressure bar trends- shows the variation of the pulse pressure.

Blood pressure histogram- shows the systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, pulse pressure, and pulse rate distribution.



Blood pressure correlation chart- shows the correlation between systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure.



Setting personal profileYou can manage your patient data in the profile tab. The content of this page is the same as "Add Patient" page. It provides the patient records and target setting. You don't need to fill all blanks at the first time. However, please remember to modify the target settings in the patient profile which alter the target range on the result charts.

Edit medical recordsThis page records the patient's medical history, drug allergy, and specific comments. It also records the patient's insulin usage and glycated hemoglobin ratio (HbA1c).

Manual key-inIf the data can not be transferred to the software due to the connection problem, you can use the manual key-in function to save the data.

Print personal reportOn the Data searching page, press the print button to print the selected item. The default printing items are blood glucose and blood pressure results; you can change the setting on the pop-up window. If you have the regular printing item, you can also change the setting.

Add new patientYou can add the new patient's personal information, medical history, and the meter model at the first time. Therefore, when patient comes back, you can download the data immediately without matching the meter. This step is the same as adding patient while downloading the data. You may choose the way which is more convenient for you.

ProceduresThe information columns include ID, name, birthday, gender, telephone number, height, weight, fax, relative, address, email, caregiver, and device.

You can set the lower bound and upper bound in "Target Setting Area." The upper bound number has to be larger than lower bound.

After clicking the "add new patient", the personal profile page pops out. The required columns are ID, Name, and Device. After entering these three required columns, the information can be saved. Then the user can input other medical information of this patient.

Common settingYou can set units, languages, synchronization and the normal ranges of the parameters. If the clinic provides several shared meters, the model number of the shared meters can be input on this page. The data in the shared devices will be automatically deleted after each download.

Print reportBy saving the report printing options, it will apply to every patient's report printing.

Institution informationYou can enter your clinic information in the "Institution information" tab. Set the institution information includes name, telephone number, fax, email, and address for displaying on the patient's report.

Import: Import license file to software. If the software use period has expired, the user need to get the lincensed file from Taidoc to continue using the full function of the software.

UninstallIf you would like to uninstall this software, it can be uninstalled under the start icon in Start Menu. Then select the item "Uninstall" for removing PCLink pro.

Error Message Communication failed. Make sure your meter shows PCL on the meter screen.

Solutions You can remove your meter from the PC and connect it once again. Make sure that your meter shows PCL on the meter screen.

Error Message Communication failed. Make sure that the cable line is ready. Notice that download would begin only if your meter shows PCL on the meter screen.

Solutions During data transmitting, if the meter does not react, the meter may be in the sleep mode or a wrong connecting cable is used. Please plug in the correct cable to the computer again or click the download button again. When the meter displays PCL, the transmission is back to working status.

Error Message Communication failed. There is no cable connecting to your PC.Solutions The cable line is not ready on your PC. Make sure the cable line is

well connected with your PC.Error Message This device model is not supported.Solutions You may have used a meter that the software does not support. Please
