Installation to Solid Concrete or Cinder Block
• WheninstallingPeerlesswallmountsoncinderblock,verifythatyouhaveaminimumof1-3/8"(35mm)ofactualconcretethicknessintheholetobeusedfortheconcreteanchors.Donotdrillintomortarjoints!Besuretomountinasolidpartoftheblock,generally1"(25mm)minimumfromthesideoftheblock.CinderblockmustmeetASTMC-90specifications.Itissuggestedthatastandardelectricdrillonslowsettingisusedtodrilltheholeinsteadofahammerdrilltoavoidbreakingoutthebackoftheholewhenenteringavoidorcavity.
• Concretemustbe2000psidensityminimum.Lighterdensityconcretemaynotholdconcreteanchor.• Makesurethatthewallwillsafelysupportfourtimesthecombinedloadoftheequipmentandallattachedhardwareandcomponents.
