Install 64 Bit Driver

INSTALLING 64 BIT DRIVERExtract the zip file containing the driver folders to a location you can eas-

ily find. (C:\Lasercut\ is the recommended location.) Plug the computer into the AP Lazer via USB cable.Turn power on to the AP Lazer (there may be a pop up that it is “Installing

New Hardware,” this can be ignored). Once the AP Lazer machine is pow-ered on and plugged in via USB to the computer, open the Device Manager.

From the Device Manager, go to “other devices” and find “EZ-USB FX2” See FIG. 1

Right Click on “EZ-USB FX2” and select “Update Driver Software” or “Prop-erties” if “Update Driver Software” is not an option. If selecting “Properties”, select “Update Driver” from the “Driver” tab in the properties window. See FIG. 2

Once on the “Update Driver Software” window, select “Browse my com-puter for driver software.” See FIG. 3

Browse to the folder containing the extracted files from the first step of the instructions. Click “OK” to proceed. With the proper folder selected click “Next.” See FIG. 4a & 4b

During the installation process, you may receive a confirmation pop up window. (fig.5) Please check the radio box to “Always trust software from “Cheengdu Leetro Automation Co,. Ltd.” then click “Install.” See FIG. 5

Once the Installation is complete, the device will show in the Device Manager as “LT Slave USB (6013A) Driver” (see FIG. 6) if the installation was successful. You are now prepared to operate your AP Lazer Machine on 64 bit operating systems.

Your AP Lazer will automatically reinstall each time you reconnect to the laptop. It may take a few moments for Windows to reinstall the driver each time. Please remain patient.
