Technology Stack

TapGift is a real time social gift-giving and receiving Service where friends can “ share in the moment" as they enjoy their favorite sports and leisure activities. Therefore Venue partners have the ability engage customers at just the right times and just the right places. It is location based and uses GPS to track users when they “Check-In” to predefined venues which have been registered with TapGift. Users can then purchase items from retailers at that venue or gift those items to their friends. An instant messaging feature was also implemented.

User Registration: Ability to sign in using the FB user credentials to signup or signup as a new user.

Checking In: Ability to show friends that you had checked into the sports or leisure activity venue , which enables you to receive offers and gifts from the friends who are attending or not attending the event.

Pick Gift Receiver: Select a Facebook friend or anyone with a email address or phone number to give a gift.

Customizing Gifts Ability to pick your offer from the list of

items available at sale at the venue, write a greeting and enter payment details and Press “Give”

Adding Value Ability to add value to a free offer at the

venue or add value to a gift which was gifted by another friend. Adding value to a gift is a great way to send belated birthday wishes.

Notifications Your friend will be notified of your gift via

text message. Our app also notifies existing users of each gift they receive, as well as any offers sent by the venue vendors.

Cancellation Policy Ability to cancel the gift and refund your

money if the gift is unused at that particular venue.

Security Credit card or PayPal information will not be

stored on the servers. Sensitive payment details are encrypted and transmitted to a third-party payment services provider that operates under strict Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI-DSS)

OneHug is a unique Android and IPhone based social media application currently in development, which allows users to ‘share hugs’. It uses integration with GoogleMaps, where users can define the areas and amount of passes that their hug should receive and can transmit their hug to their friends. Their friends can transmit that hug to their friends and so on, creating a chain of hugs which can be monitored across the world by the initiator of the Hug. It involves online payment for users to purchase special types of Hugs or accessories for their Avatars. Based on the success of Hugs, the company will donate a certain monetary amount to a cause specified by the User.
