Inspiration

Topshop.tumblr have used a horizontal navigation system like most websites, however they do not have much variety. My website will include five navigation tabs (Home, New In, Most Popular, Shoes Accessories) which will be positioned similarly at the top of the page, underneath the title of my website.

Including tabs for social networking websites such as “Twitter” and “Facebook” is important to have on my website as it looks professional. Not only that but it will also reach a wider target audience.

I like the way the pictures have been enlarged for the consumer if it attracts them, so they have a closer look.

The images also have a similar appeal to them as they are pictured in the street, casually. This will be my aim also.

Overall, this Tumblr website promoting the fashion label “Topshop” has inspired my website so that it is slightly more unique. I will make a variety of changed – by taking my own images around London based areas well know for street-style for example Oxford Street. I will also add price tags to my collections as most fashion websites use this.
