Its finally here! Katfish killa has returned! After the long awaited wait for season 2 we finally get to find out how the love triangle between Shan-

ice, Dwayne and Charlotte unfolds. And this season the show didn’t hold back. We’ve got break ups, big reveals, murders and a new character? It keeps getting better. We all know the talented and very handsome Reece Paul played the voice of Dwayne in season one and his lovely partner in crime (almost literally) Louise Kings played one of his love interests as the naive but lovable Charlotte.

Today I sat down with Reece and Louise and our new character that is yet to be named, to find out what it’s been like recording season 2 and to try and squeeze out any spoilers about what we can expect this season.

So Dwayne, how has your return to the radio been? Any shocks to the system?‘Haha, no it’s been great, coming back to do the show made me realise how much I missed the Katfish killa team and working on the radio as opposed to the big screen, obviously after just wrapping up my new

movie with Denzel Washington, it’s been great, I’ve settled back in alright and it feels good to go to work in joggers rather than in costume.’Sounds good, and yes we’ve heard all about your new movie, it looks amazing.

So what can we expect from your char-acter this season?This season Dwayne really takes con-trol of the situation he’s in a try’s to fix things with both Charlotte and Shanice but obviously there’s a few twits and shocks that make it very hard for him, but I can’t say anymore. Haha But I promise it won’t disappoint.

We’ve heard it straight from Reece himself, we can ex-pect twists and shocks this time around and it surely wont disappoint. Although we couldn’t get too much out of Reece, Louise Kings was willing to give a little more away about her character charlotte. Louise, what has it been like playing the voice of

Charlotte this season and what can we expect from her character?

‘Well Charlotte actually won’t be in this season as much as she was last season, however the episodes that she is in are full of drama. There’s so much to

expect, Shanice turns crazier than ever, the love triangle disappears as a new character comes into it so Dwayne actually has another love interest. It’s very dramatic, especially

the first episode when they all attend a big party, all the characters are together, the new characters intro-duced, its definitely not one to miss’

There we have it! New characters, new love interests and lots of drama. What more could we ask for. As Louise mentioned a new character is being intro-duced. This character plays the new love interest of Dwayne and has a very close relation to Shanice but how? The character is called Layla and is played by our favourite reality star Courtney Donegal. Courtney, how does it feel going from reality tv to the radio? And how have you settled in with the Katfish Killa team?

It’s definitely very very different! But I’ve had a blast. The team are friendly, we’re always laughing and everyone remains professional when the job needs to be done. So the dynamic in the studio is amazing. Everyone’s like a little family and they’ve really made me feel welcome, so I’m really excited to be a part of Katfish killa this season.’

That’s great to hear. Is there anything you can add to what Reece and Louise have said about what to expect?

‘I think Louise nearly gave it all away. But just expect a lot of suspense, drama and great music. It’s a great radio drama and you’d be crazy to miss all the excite-ment the team have in store for you this year.’
