NYBC is pleased to announce we have been awarded another grant to beginworking with local agencies to improve bicycling education and tourism inNew York State. To find out how your organization can work with NYBC toimprove bicycling in your area, please email us at [email protected].
NYBC has partnered with The Trust for PublicLand to conduct a feasibility study for theextension of the Empire State Trail onto LongIsland with the goal of determining how toimplement this long-standing idea of a multi-usecorridor across Long Island.
NYBC is moving forward rapidly on our other projects.
NYBC hosted a successful booth and SWOT session with Hamilton County aspart of Adirondack Days.
NYBC is also developing a Complete Streets-based curriculum in partnershipwith NYSERDA. The final product will be unveiled the day before our BikeSummit in Saratoga Springs on Sept 27.

NYBC Hudson Valley Regional Meeting
Thank you to Bike Nyack for hosting an informative Regional Meeting.We heard from the New York State Thruway about the shared usepath that will open on the Gov Mario M Cuomo (Tappan Zee) Bridgein 2019.
NYBC is hosting four regional meetings to connect with local bike-ped
and multi-modal transportation organizations. These meetings are toexchange ideas and best practices for local projects and ideas toexpand the region's commitment to safe travels for all modes oftransportation and recreation. Our next meetings are:
North Country in Saranac Lake - June 9Southern Tier in Binghamton - June 16Central New York in Syracuse - date to be announced soon!
