• Touching and hugging feels nice and lots of people like to be hugged. Hugs and touches always need to be soft and gentle.

• Babies need a lot of help from adults. We use our touch to help them do the things they cannot do.

• But if I am cuddling my special people, I must be soft and gentle. Nobody likes strong hugs – they hurt and they can be dangerous.
