How can we help our children do well in school? The latest education research suggests that a child’s progress is improved when the core school curriculum is taught through engaging and entertaining activities.

Creative Education expert Paul Collard explores what it is about the brain that makes this possible.

This program has been facilitated by FORM, an independent, non-profit cultural organisation that develops and advocates for excellence in creativity and artistic practice in Western Australian communities. The Goods Shed is FORM’s new project space for creativity, learning, and community engagement.

The Goods Shed Creative Learning program provides unique opportunities for children and adults to develop skills in collaboration with visiting artists and will pilot new approaches to arts education engagement. Through its first expert residency, focused on innovative learning and creativity in education, The Goods Shed Creative Learning Program will host Paul Collard, CEO of UK based Creativity Culture and Education (CCE), alongside two international artists; Yaminay Chaudhri and Paul Gorman, to provide training to Western Australian artists, teachers, and schools.
