Mentor-Protégé Agreement:Boeing/Orion TRL Lessons Learned

Link agreement to long-term project

Begin with the end in mind

Set expectations up front

Get buy-in and involvement

Keep people (who set up the agreement) involved in the process

Have program manager on both sides

Establish open and honest communication

Arrange regular tag-up meetings

Protégé should be involved in meetings with government entity

Try to keep from changing agreement in mid-stream

Don’t expect the world17
