Innovation Acceleration Project Leader

In this role, you will join the Innovation Acceleration Team (IAT) at the Nestlé HQ in Vevey.

IAT is directly reporting to the Chief Technology Officer and its mission is to enable and drive innovation focusing on new territories and to grow future Nestlé leaders.

As a Project Leader you will be working on major strategic initiatives sponsored by the executive

board members. Your role will be focused on: - Accelerating the deployment of leap innovation platforms to new markets

- Building strategies for Nestlé to enter new markets / categories

- Designing new business models for game-changing innovations

In the course of your assignments, you will manage cross-functional teams of business and operational Center functions, local markets and R&D and acquire an extensive knowledge of the

industry, company dynamics and processes. This will expose you to broad range of geographies,

product categories, business models, as well as to the Nestlé top management, which will allow you to build a strong network within the company.

Key responsibilities

Full responsibility for the end-to-end project performance and stakeholder management,

ensuring effective communication and proactive cooperation

Catalyst for innovation, constantly challenging assumptions and ensuring the application of

best in class innovation processes, bridging technical, commercial and expert functions

Bring clarity to complex situations by synthesizing available knowledge and peoples’ multi-

functional expertise, to enable leap innovation Contribute to create value within IAT by sharing the accumulated project knowledge

Education and experience

At least 5 years experience and proven track record in one of the following areas: Innovation,

Marketing, Sales, R&D, Finance or Consulting

Education: Top University degree. MBA or PhD is an advantage

Experience in project management and multi-functional team leadership

International experience and internationally mobile (up to 70% travel required)

Demonstrated innovative thinking in challenging situations (experience in new ventures is

considered a plus)
