Point 2 (RB24): platform made of concrete blocks and reinforced concrete slabs to continue the tunnel slope

Standard PMPS jack stiffness as specified and experimentally verified:

Load = 64KN Deflection (at head jack) = 1mm Interface between cryomagnet and jack: angular contact

spherical plain bearing

Test with SSS arc cryomagnet (weight = 8T): under 100KN load applied axially on the center of the cryostat, no displacement observed

Note: the PMPS jack could work as a free jack
