Warm greetings to my Inner Wheel friends!It is Merigold time and we are celebrating Navratri and Dushehara in this month.I wish you a very Happy Dushehra and may Goddess Durga give us the strength, energy and power to fight all the evils.Last month on digital platform we celebrated Zonal Meet Anugraha of Zone I. We celebrated Anurag the1st ever District ISO & Editor Meet which was full of energy, creativity, talent, patriotism and nostalgia. We had an opportunity to hear inspirational thoughts of National Editor Dr. Sandhya Bhat.On 1st October we celebrate International Day for old persons and world vegetarian day and on 4th October We celebrate World animal Welfare Day. So friends take care of Seniors in your house who have given their entire life for our happiness. Now it is our duty to give them happy times. I am glad that so many of our IW Members who are senior citizens have become technosavy. Take care of all the animals as they are the important components of nature. I thank you for your support in sending your Club’s Project photos for District Bulletin and appeal for your support for District Souvenir Anubhooti. Dear friendsInner Wheel Greetings!I'm overwhelmed to see your work. Each club is contributing in their own special way to help the society. I really would like to appreciate all the good work you are doing but at the same time I would like you all to be cautious. Please follow all the norms and do not move out if it is not safe. Do not take risk. Take care of yourself. Use your creativity to do projects where new norms can be followed. Do not get frustrated. When you feel yourself cocooned in isolation and cannot find your way out of darkness. Remember that the butterfly is proof that you can go through a great deal of darkness and still become something beautiful. I only would like to request one thing. IWC Panvel IT erected 20 poles in the city of Panvel at various places for awreness creation & branding

Inner Wheel Club of Panvel Industrial Town happily hosted the Zonal Meet "Anugrah" for Zone 1 on 19th September 2020 successfully. The event was attended by more than 300 members from all over the district including the District EC members and several PDC’s from different zones.

Event convener PP Dr Sadhana Gandhi was the MOC of the day. Club President Dhwani Tannawelcomed all the dignitaries and guests for the event. Club Secretary Hetal Balad recited the Inner Wheel prayer and the apologies and Best Wishes. All the dignitaries participated in the virtual “Lighting the lamp” ceremony. A beautiful invocation of Lord Ganesha’s blessings was performed in a Ganesh Vandana by Club member Bijal Mirani. Zonal Coordinator PDC Dr R Savithri Raghupati presented the opening as well as the closing remarks. The event was blessed by PIIWBD Roshan Chindhy in a small video.

It was a star studded evening with our Guest Speaker, "Booklet Guy" Mr Amrut Deshmukh who spoke on the importance of reading and its impact on one’s life. There was an amazing galaxy of District Speakers:

District Chairman Anuradha Chandak spoke on the Topic of “Lead the Change”.District ESO PIIWR Charulata Chinchankar spoke on interesting subject of “Light a light”.PAP Smita Pingale spoke on important topic of “E-Literacy” which is the need of the time.Zonal PDC Manju Sharma spoke on important subject of “Inner Wheel Ethics”.

The event could not have been completed without the wonderful dance performances and fashion shows by clubs of Zone 1 for the Entertainment session. Despite the Covid-19 situations, all clubs from Zone 1 participated whole-heartedly and made the evening more colorful and funfilled. The Zonal Meet was well planned and organized and was immensely appreciated by everyone who attended it.

AnugrahZonal Meet –Zone I

Anurag District ISO & Editor meet of IW District 313 was dual bonanza on digital platform held on 12h & 13th September 2020.On 1st day of Dist. ISO Meet all the Club ISOs of Dist 313 were introduced in through ZonewiseDigital Parade with their respective Club Flag. This was follwed by All Club ISOs showcasing the Heritage Heirlooms of India Presenting the ethnic sarees from Kashmir to Kerala and from Assam to Gujrath. Authentic Saree a weak point of every woman captured the hearts of the viewers. DC Anuradha gave a well researched information of each weave. This entire program was designed and presented by by DC Anuradha Chandak and Dist. ISO Lata ShivshankarOn 2nd day of District Editor meet, NE Dr. Sandhya Bhat guided the audience on roles of Club Editors . All Club Editors were introduced in Zonewise digital parade on the theme of Mai Vasundhara - Myself the Mother Earth with their respective Club Bulltins. The Club Editors then enthralled the audience on La Bollywood Retro theme I a talent/rampwalk competetion with retro style costumes and dance, to prove that Old is Gold. This program was designed and presented by District Editor Dr. Asha Deshpande. District Executive committee members also participated very enthusiastically in both the themes.
