Course Program—Three-Day Foundation of The Inner Game®
Module 1, Foundation: a three-day course, introduces the participant to the origins of The Inner Game approach, in-
cludes demonstrations, exercises, self-reflections, small group discussions, as well as an interactive presentation
which brings to light the power of simple, non-judgmental awareness, the power of conscious choice, the power of
self-trust, and the overcoming of common mental interferences. The relevance to higher performance and learning in
any field becomes obvious.
Course Training Goals
The goal is to learn how to learn in both inner and outer environments, bringing a much-needed balance in work com-
pared to single-minded focus on performance results. The “job” gets accomplished while the person experiences
growth and enjoyment. Coaches, managers, and leaders realize the importance of their role in regaining this inner-
outer balance for themselves, for those they lead, and for the organization itself.

ABOUT W. TIMOTHY (TIM) GALLWEY
After writing the best selling book The Inner Game of
Tennis, many of Gallwey’s readers noted that the work
was, in fact, about how to make changes in behavior and
mindset in any activity. Based on that premise, Gallwey
was invited by AT&T to help them implement his
approach to change during their historic transformation
from a giant monopoly into a competitive market
enterprise. Working with board room leaders, marketing
executives, technicians and telephone operators, he saw
first-hand how much excellence in any role depended
on mindset, self-interference and the unspoken corpo-
rate culture. Later clients included IBM, Apple
Computer, Anheuser Busch and Rolls Royce. He
recently established The Inner Game International
School in five countries, and a global course on The Inner
Game of Leadership marketed by London-based
Performance Consultants International.
