Aim and purpose

• The aim and purpose for me doing this slide show is so that I may gain feedback off of my peer group. I want to have the opinion of people in my peer group because they may have great ideas that I can incorporate into my magazine, also it will give me a wider view on other peoples opinion for a music magazine, this will then give me more ideas of what will be popular to put in my magazine which would then lead to my magazine being more popular.

Peer feedback;• My peer group thought that all of my ideas for the

magazine, however the majority of my peer group chose the folk magazine as the one they like the best.

Reasons for why they chose this-

• “Has more of a gap in the market”

• “it is more original and unique”

• “the natural colours she has chosen really fits in well with the genre of the magazine”

Things to improve-

• Change target audience so that there is more for younger people to; 25-50

• Talk about both old folk music and new folk music

• Entwine some ideas from indie magazine into the folk ones that will work and make the magazine look unique.

• Use big titles and cover line however don’t let them get in the way of the front cover photo.

Final decision;• My final decision for my magazine genre is folk, I chose this

one because I really like that there is a big gap in the market so I can design and make this magazine how I think it should look ad really get creative with it because there aren't many other magazines like it. I also chose this genre because almost everyone who voted said they think this one would be best for me to do, also I know that its not always about what I would like to have in my magazine but also the people who would be deciding weather to buy it or not, so to get this feedback and not use it would be stupid. I am very happy with this genre because there is many different ideas I can use for articles and cover photos, also I can get really creative and have fun with making it.
