The Idiha project stems from the need to develop and render the ideas of a highly qualified staff creative, consisting of skilled technicians, architects, designers and a leader in the rotational moulding process, which ensures the highest quality standards in the production phase . The Idiha furnishings represent a minimalist and harmonious style, an aesthetic concept that is developed to create a refined design to be perfectly inserted into any outdoor or even indoor environment in modern homes design.

One of the association’s objectives, promotes women’s creativity by supporting the handicraft of women from the south of the world. The company is interested in the development of innovative products also destined to new uses and at the same time reinterpreting paper fabrics also by combining it with other materials to display the yarn beam involved in the project. The paper fabrics as a sustainable product in recent years is no longer used as a semi-finished product and was replaced by plastic; the company would then identify new uses to reuse paper fabrics for the production of new types of productsWith this premise, the themes are as follows:

Brief 1_Finished products dedicated to the table, placemats, coasters, aprons, trivets ... Finished products for the sleeping and living rooms, headboard, lamps, cushions, promotional decorative tartan rug in particular for the partnership. Finished products for the bathroom, curtains, carpets, contai-ners ...

Brief 2_DIY line collection of DIY products and wall coverings by designing products for home decoration. Decoration lines can be studied starting with digital printing techniques and laser, taking into account the texture and consistency of the bearing.

Brief 3_Design of fashion accessories for women oriented to the creation of bags and shoes.

Area of activity: Metals and allied products, iron, steel and derivativesType of production: Casting and forging of iron, aluminum and steel. The company manufactures products primarily made of cast iron, but also in aluminum, iron and steel, mainly for private and public outdoor and indoor furniture. The artisan tradition of casting and forging combines the use of modern techniques in the treatment of external furniture and in painting to obtain more practical and durable products.• It produces - structures and articles based on the designer’s drawings, for public and private clients.• It reproduces - cast iron original parts items, especially required in restructuring activity.The careful production process, which begins with the fusion of high end materials, is completed with a special finishing treatment divided into four phases: • Preparation - after the merger and the subsequent blasting and deburring phases, each component is sandblasted to remove any residue and oxidation, and is thus prepared for the next steps: shot blasting, sandblasting• Phosphating - prepainting process divided into 11 distinct phases: softener, pre-degreasing, degreasing, first wash, activation, phosphating, zinc salts, second wash with continuously renewed water, passivation, third wash in demineralized water, oven drying, cooling. • Cataphoresis - divided into 6 phases: cathodic electrodeposition immersion, ultrafiltration of first wash spray recirculation, ultrafiltration of second wash pure spray, demineralized water third wash recirculation, pure ultrafiltration, oven drying, cooling• Painting - four painting phases in a static oven; electrostatic deposition of powder paint: firing, drying, cooling..

Arredi urbani in ghisa e acciaio, dissuasori, cestini, porta rifiuti, fontane, cartelli pubblicitari, pensiline. L’azienda è interessata a sviluppare nuovi prodotti destinati all’esterno per ambienti pubblici e privati, combinando al metallo anche altri materiali come legno, lapidei... espressione delle maestranze coinvolte nel progetto.Con questa premessa i temi sono i seguenti:

Brief 1_Sistema di arredi urbani costituiti prevalentemente da un colonnino dissuasore e posacenere aggregabile alla struttura in ghisa o acciaio. Le dimensioni di riferimento di massima del colonnino dovranno essere inscritte in un altezza compresa tra 100 e 110 cm e un diametro medio tra 5 e 8 cm. Il posacenere dovrà essere progettato in modo da essere facilmente svuotabile dagli operatori ecologici.

Brief 2_Collezione di posaceneri, autoportanti (con piedistallo) e con capacità di aggregazione (predisposti per il fissaggio) a supporti come alberi, pali, colonne. I posaceneri dovranno essere progettati sia per le aree esterne di locali per l’intrattenimento, come ristoranti, enoteche, sale gioco... sia per parchi, giardini, piscine... Sia per ambienti interni pubblici come sale gioco, club privati...

L’azienda è interessata a sviluppare e a valorizzare prodottti innovativi in cui il tema centrale ponga al centro la naturalità e le caratteristiche dell’essenze lignee, in particolare del massello. Allo stesso tempo l’azienda è interessata al connubio del legno con altri materiali come, lapidei, metallo, tessili... espressione delle maestranze coinvolte nel progetto.Con questa premessa i temi sono i seguenti:

Brief 1_Sistema di arredi da giardino multifunzione, all’interno del quale potrebbe essere sviluppato un carrello per giardino multifunzionale con portavivande, barbecue elettrico o a gas, con ruote. Il progetto dovrebbe combinare il legno con altri materiali come pietra e metalli, e allo stesso tempo integrare sistemi energetici ottenuti da fonti rinnovabili come il fotovoltaico.

Brief 2_Studio di un sistema di ante per mobili contenitori per l’ambiente cucina, living, guradaroba e camera. Lo studio dovrà prevedere l’utilizzo di materiali alternativi al legno come tessili, carta, pietra... per le superfici di tamponamento.

Brief 3_Studio e progettazione di un letto singolo trasformabile, con movimenti semplici ed intuitivi, in letto matrimoniale. Lo studio dovrà prendere in considerazione la valorizzazione delle texture lignee in particolare del legno di zebrano.
